Off my rocker! I'll be in and out!
See y'all!
The hurricane is supposed to hit us sometime tomorrow. They have wind and rain warnings out now. I was debating on whether to leave now before or wait until it passes.
Joe
Unless you're comletely prepared to leave soon enough to get far enough, I personally think if where you are is structurally sound, stick it out.Quote:

Let me know if I can help with links to radar. Here in NE FLA, I've sat through several nasty storms, but I didn't have Little Cheeks with me.
And Stringer?:DQuote:

Hi all!! How's everyone doing today?
Not missing just making sure I don't miss anything...
Like saying Good luck to J and I wish her well on her test... But Cap'n I feel the same way about her as you do, she will succeed...
Hi everyone!
Hi, Start!
Hi, Rank!
Heading out to knock down some groceries and some errands.
Let's see... make a note: Page # 110 when I get back! Hehe
Joe, the latest report is the storm will likely be sub-tropical by the time it get to you! That's great news, my friend!
Hey all
Grocerie time! Sounds like what I should be doing...
Hi albear
Hey rank, quick question what exactly are you doing in your pic,are you feeding that other guy
We were pretending to eat pumpkin guts! Hubbys idea for the pic... turned out quite lovely huh?
I think it's time I change my Halloween pic... be right back :D
Pumpkin, go figure, it kind of looks like chicken to me, no idea whyQuote:

Yummmmm Coffee... that's probably the only thing I'll miss during my pregnancy!
You can still have coffee...
I had a latte an hour before I delivered my daughter! LOL I really did!
Oh wowy... really! For some reason I was thinking caffiene was a big fat no no... oh how I'm tempted now! :p I will probably wait until I'm past 12 weeks... just in case... I'll make myself paranoid if I have some right now :o I can hear yah now start, "GIVE ME A LATTE....NOOOOW!!!" :p
I thought I might be in labor, drove myself to the quick drive in latte place... then to the doctor... she said yup, you will have a baby today, I went home and all of a sudden an hour later, I had my daughter almost didn't make it to the hospital room... and my mid wife was late... It was easy as pie, I could have done it myself! You can have a cup of coffee or two!
What a story start... sounds like it went very well for yah! A cup... or TWO!! Me oh my! So you said you had a midwife? I was thinking about finding a doula...
Mid wife's are great and much more personal... I don't even know what a doula is??
My friend had a doula and really liked the experience. Here is a pretty good explanation of one, "A doula who accompanies a woman in labor mothers the mother, taking care of her emotional needs throughout childbirth. A doula also provides support and suggestions for partners that can enhance their experiences of birth. A postpartum doula continues that valuable emotional support and guidance, helping a family make a smooth transition into new family dynamics."
Amazing Rank, you have a wealth of knowledge. Do you have a doula?Quote:

Well everyone, please wish me and my beautiful wife a happy fifth wedding anniversary. Five years ago I said "I do" and she said " I think". But I convinced her that her decision to participate in this "joint venture" was a good one. (?) I believe that she is very happy, I know that I am, I GOT THE BETTER PART OF THE DEAL!!
Happy anniversary stringer and mrs stringerQuote:
