Well to be honest I sent sunny an email earlier today (because I hadn't seen sunny in a while and was wondering how sunny was) and she said she might show up :)

Not really a day off Sunny, but I'm taking some good time before hard work some time later...

As hot as ever, Cat. Rain poured heavily earlier, must be the heat. And then, water started dripping from the cable linking the aerial to the TV. The cable passes through a loose hole in the wall and it's the first time water succeeds in getting it. Got some furniture wet :( Just crossing fingers they won't start to rot.

I went in the yard, pulled on the cable so that no more water could to in that way. Waiting the furniture to dry now...

No comment lets me fill in the blank. Be careful with that. Just saying.

Unky you always sound so busy. I tire hearing you talk about all your work.

Bum deal about the leak. Maybe you can put a fan on the furniture help it dry faster.

See if the hardware store has any of the polyurethane foam sealant. It comes in a can like shaving cream and is great for waterproofing structures.

Good idea Cats, in the meantime 'loop' the wire so that the water doesn't travel down into your house.And I would suggest wiping the down to dry it and get the water off them.
