I have 2 weeks on my own,at home... its like a christmas miracle in July.

Brendan and I are going to play 'house' for a few days, then its swim every morning, sleep late, maybe gander into town for lunch, just take my ease and chill.

I just have 2 weeks left to go... 2 lon long weeks, but the time will pass.

    How you?

I stayed over my boyfriend's the other night and one of his friends trashed his house while we were asleep. So yesterday I helped him clean up his house until about noon. Then I had to go home, and I found out I was supposed to be at a viewing and so was pat, since he has no phone I had to walk all over my town to find him. Haha, after that I went to the viewing, got sick, and went home. Then got to hear my boyfriend's self righteous mother praise herself and decide he's moving because he is dating me.

    Such fun

Why do you put up with all this drama?

You have your own life that your trying to live, its hard enough dealing with your own crap without someone else loading theirs on top as well.

I guess because I am always trying to help everyone in the real world.

Like walking in the heat yesterday for a few hours, I told my friend I'd tell Pat about the viewing last night and the funeral tomorrow. Since it was something I was asked to do and I had no way of calling him, I went to find him to complete what I said I'd do.

His mother's drama is getting to be too much though. But I'll put up with it

It's a lovely quality but you have to draw a line somewhere and say no.

    Practice now.

Emop, will you mind the kids for me?

    You say... NO.

Emop, will you run around in the heat and listen to my crap?

    You say... NO

Emop, will you let me walk all over you and take advantage of your good nature.

You say.. THE HELL I WILL!

    See,just takes practice.

I've been trying Red but it's kind of hard. I've been raised to do everything I'm asked regardless of how ridiculous it is. I told my dad no for something the other day (and ran like hell after) I think it was to clean his truck out. Nooo thanks dad, you're the one who ripped out the dashboard

There are times when you have to do things for a quite life and then there are times when people can take the mick, there's a big difference in helping and being a walkover.

Start small,is it over between you and pat?

If so,you know the drill,no contact,if not,you don't have to listen to his mother.

No, his mother forced him to break up with me over Facebook. He then walked all the way to my house the moment she left to explain everything to me. She thinks I'm too old for him and there are also a few other issues that have nothing to do with me.

We are together, part of the reason they are moving now. I know I'm a walkover. I try not to be, but then I feel badly

You don't have to feel bad when your standing up for yourself, you don't have to feel bad saying no,you can feel powerful and strong and confident.

Your not a mean person, you give your time readily,so you won't go to far the other way and end up being a right cow,but what you can do is find the balance.

When you make a decision stick to it,if you really feel uncomforable with something, say so and stick to it,if there is a compromise, then go with that.

Did I really deserve a disagree for this?
