Ok, good nitey night Starby. I can already imagine what you have endured. I once had a tiny snake (~30cm long) in the house (in Mauritius, we call them "couleuvre") and that caused great panic. They are harmless, but I hate snakes.

I'm going a bit crazy. It's hot here, Indian summer has hit, it's great. Unfortunately I'm not feeling too great, so I don't want to go out and do anything. Also, I put most of my summer clothes away. Grrrr.

Busy weekend coming up. What are your plans? Hot date? Party? Drink fest 2008? ;)

Probably not much tonight - I'm a little annoyed that I'm still sick going on three weeks now.

Unfortunately no hot dates :p There is a party that I'm supposed to be going to tomorrow night, and I think during the afternoon tomorrow my roommates and I are going out to NYC for a little while.

I need to be going to the gym soon, but I need to find some sort of snack to eat first. Then dinner after... busy busy

Had to miss my leg workout yesterday because of my ankle injury... Its getting a little frustrating though, they don't have the right equipment for my workouts so I end up aggravated by the time I leave... Might be time to start looking for a real gym somewhere closeby

My friend didn't tell me that his dad couldn't get off work until today at 3rd period.. I even told him yesterday that if he couldn't or could call me.. Here was the conversation

So yeah... Then I found out that my friend Brooke got grounded from being "disrupitive" in class when in reality the teacher is crazy. Don't get on my case about how "Its all the teachers fault yadda yadda yadda" in this case it actually was. I'm bummed out because her friend INVIted both me and her to her 16th party. Now me and her talk a bunch but the only reason she invited me was because I only know Brooke. So her not going it would feel kind of weird..

There goes my plans.

Well, time to make your own fun, find another party, get a few friends together and do something.

I know, easier said then done, but it can't hurt to try, you'll be no worse off than you are now.

That's why I hate making plans ahead of time - they always fall through on me. I find the best way to go about it is to call up some friends, meet up and see what happens... its usually easier than planning something...

Okay - off to the gym for me!

Believe it or not, many, many, many years ago, that's what guys said about me. They said I was unapproachable becaue I was pretty.

One time, when I was 18 (the drinking age in Alberta is 18) a male friend and I went to a club. I sat there most of the night, no one approached me, I was beginning to wonder if I had a second head or horns growing out of my skull. I asked my friend what the heck was wrong with me, I'd never had a problem getting dates in high school, all of a sudden it was like I had leproscy or something. He said "you're pretty, guys don't think that you'll say yes if they ask you to dance or ask to sit down, people who know you know that isn't true, but these people don't know you."

So, I got of my butt, walked over to a guy, asked him to dance. He looked shocked, but accepted.

Moral: You won't know unless you ask. What's the worst that can happen? She'll say no and walk away, but, she could say yes. :)

Yes, But at the same time while she's being stalked by a crazy Senior sometimes It gets challenging

It's a long story, but basicially he enjoys "robbing the cradle" and usually only dates "underclassmen" girls.

I've been stalked a few times. Been beaten up a few times. You name it, it's happened to me.

Guy, when I met my hubby I didn't want anything to do with him. I was just looking for fun, not love. I tried to push him away so often I'm surprised he kept coming back. I was very messed up, didn't believe that I deserved to be happy. He made me happy, I had to get rid of him, this could only end badly.

Well, he didn't let me dodge him, I was really mean to him, tried everything in my power to get him to realize that I wasn't the girl for him. He stuck through it. We've been together almost 19 years, gulp, half my life.

Challenging isn't always a bad thing. ;)

Why? It's not the country that's bad, it was the people I hung out with, events in my younger years, many bad choices. Really, Canada's a nice country. :)

I didn't mean to scare you. Trust me, not everyone has a past like mine, thank goodness. I just had really bad luck and made some really bad choices. Ah, if I could go back knowing what I know now.

Guy, you're young, trust me, you will have things happen to you, you will have choices to make, you won't always make the right ones.

I wish that I had a place like AMHD to go to when I was a teen, could have saved me a lot of trouble and heartache.

Some things you have to learn the hard way. Even if you listen to us oldies, there's no guarantee that you won't get hurt sooner or later. In fact, I can guarantee that you will, no matter what you do.

Learn from my mistakes, but don't be afraid to live your life. :)

If you took a look at me, then took a look at all the girls I've dated, you'd go, "what the heck...how'd he get her?!?"... it's the typical response I get whenever I'm out with girls.. . no one's out of your league. Be a cocky jerk, you'll be surprised how many "out of your league" type girls go after you.
