I'm the one whistling and hootin in the background! :p I prefer a slower two step with a guy who knows how to spin and turn, and grab my hand so I don't land in the middle of the dance floor!

That did happen once... a guy spun me, and forgot to grab me, and I ended up slamming right into the wall! I cut my arm on a sharp corner of a table that was in the way! Needless to say... I didn't dance with that guy again!

    Hey all,

Sneezy, I'm a little jealous of the weather, been dealing with violent storms so far all day. Got a few games of tennis in before it started raining though.

Wedding yesterday was awesome, great time :)

    It calmed down...

Thing is, I love the storms. Something about destruction and power like that is awesome to me. I guess that's a little sick of me, but I can't lie... Even when things like hurricanes happen, I'm always impressed to see the damage they can cause. Not good that people die, but the sheer power is incredible...

I'm the weirdo that wants to see how much the yard/street can flood during a storm, not the one complaining about it.

Hahaha, okay, okay :p. Yes, it's true how these natural phenomenon can be powerful and destructive. Any other you admire, like volcanoes, earhtquakes, tsunamis?

Hey, BB.. you are not the only one. I guess it is just seeing all that power that nature can apply and being there to watch it, knowing that anything can happen, but still hypnotized.

There have been 'humans' in my life attempting to exert that type of power over me, but nothing compares!

So, from one weirdo to another, don't feel alone honey.

    Hi all.

It sounds like I missed a lot of action since I visited the last time.

It's been awful hot and humid here so I had to stay inside with the shades down and fans on. I did go out Saturday to have ice-cream with friends, but after a few hours I had to escape back into my dark and cool domain.

I'm not a vampire, but cannot handle direct sun or the humid heat - makes me get anxiety attacks and hard to breathe.

Today is my grandson's 2d B-Day and I had to miss this one too because he's in Spain with his parents. I'm a little down because of it as I don't think I'll be here for his 3d - and that depresses and angers me at the same time. A storm is brewing here and I hope it's a good one, one that expresses how I feel right now. I don't think my tears can compare to the rain though.

So, please send me some Hugs please, I really could use them.

    Love,
    Chery

Chery, I am so sorry you are sad about the birthday but just know how much you are loved by Alex and soon, he will be home and in your arms again, giving you great big hugs and kisses! When I am missing mine, I close my eyes and can almost feel them sitting my my lap with arms wrapped all around, feel the soft skin on their little faces and hands and that makes me feel some better.

You are so loved here on the site. You have come to mean so much to so many of us. I love you and send big squeeze hugs and hope you get some good rest!! Do you know what a blessing you are to us?? I hope so Chery. You are going through such struggles, yet reach out to so many with your warmth and caring.

Let us do that for you today ~~~~~~~~ HUGS HUGS HUGS and wonderful wishes being sent to you!

I can't imagine the anger, frustration and sadness you speak about totally but having been in bed for the better part of a year in 1985, and not knowing what lie ahead, I can certainly understand part of it. Unless a person has gone through certain situations, it is just difficult to really say we totally understand but we can say we stand with you 100% in your struggles and frustration and are here for you anytime you need to vent, share, cry, holler, be melancholy, anything. Love transcends time and space!!

I'm waaaay busy today and haven't had time to read the "Chery-is-sad" story... but I must say...

Chery, dear heart, you overflow with a kindness that is seldom seen in the world these days. Your heart is so full of love and grace that it overflows into your thoughts and written word. You are treasured and loved by all of us... and we hold you as one of our beloved friends. Never be sad alone. We're always here to help encourage and strengthen your resolve...

    Much love, dearheart! :)

Momma C, big hug to you, huge Alty hug, watch out, I'm contagious. ;)

I know you are sad, but don't be. Cry if you must, my mom always said that a good cry is because our teacups are full, need to be emptied (it sounded better when she said it). So, cry, let it all out, but remember this, although it is a special day, a birthday, it is only one day, you don't have to celebrate with him on this specific day, because every day with him is special, every day is a birthday when he's with his Grandma. So chin up, big smile, everything will be just fine. :)

Love you Momma C, very much. :)

After taking a break and trying to sleep in this heat, I signed on here and now new tears appear.
But these are tears of joy.

The warmth and solidarity and support I received from you, my cybor-family, is so endearing and I cherish it with all my heart.

Thank you so much for your encouraging words,my dear friends, in my time of sorrow.

I know it will pass and that I will see my Alex and my daughter again soon and have them in my arms and see their smiles and beautiful eyes.

With the combination of the heat, pain and frustration, I had a weak moment and the wonderful hugs from you really did me good.

Thank you so much for being there for me.
