http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_3_16.gif Hi Start, Stringer, Capt'n, Shattered, CBW and Janine, JesusHelper - and everyone else.
Hope you are all well and not too busy - but from the looks of it some of you are a bit.
Not been on the site for a while so I probably missed a lot. My mind has been wandering away from me and making me sleep a lot, but my thoughts and virtual hugs are with you.
Jaime and Alex had the flu so they had to stay away from me - which naturally made me depressed - such is life. We can't even pick the times we catch colds and flus.
Miss you all and am sending you early Valentine wishes.

    Chery... for you...

    "Why God Made Friends"

"God made the world with a heart full of love,
Then He looked down from Heaven above,

And saw that we all need a helping hand,
Someone to share with, who'll understand.

He made special people to see us through
    The glad times and the sad times, too;

A person on whom we can always depend,
Someone we can call a friend.

God made friends so we'll carry a part
Of His perfect love in all our hearts."

    -With Love Stringer
    Happy Valentines Day

I second that emotion - if I'd have known... we have the same Starsign! I knew we were connected!

    Belated Happy Birthday Stringer!

Funny, I was meant to be one... my mother (who tried to abort me anyway) broke her water on a Saturday and I did not come until Monday, the 22d Jan - one day into the starsign - so you see, I was determined one way or the other to hang in and wait (was an 8 month baby) and to be who I am. How's that for destiny? The poor lady said I was a 'sandpaper' baby - poor mom. Haha, just as then.. and now - I like paybacks..

But honestly, there is more love than meaness in me still - that's what we Aquarians are good at - even if we don't receive as much love back - but we do get our rewards for the suffering in the end. That is something I truly believe in.

Hope you had a great time with your loved ones around.

    Hi Chery,

Yeah, I think you hit it on the head, I find it easy to love/like most people. But I too have that "other side" and sometimes the two are at very extreme polar distances, kind of scary at times.. hee hee.:D

Something unusual and perhaps coincidental occurred yesterday. As you may remember,I mentioned before that Mom passed a little over a year ago and she is missed. I was "re-saving" certain messages on my phone and the first one was her singing (at her very best); Happy birthday to me. Yes, it was from before and I have re-saved it many times. But My phone rang to tell me that I had messages that would expire if I didn't re-save. And the first one was her singing Happy Birthday... on my Birthday...

My wife said... "you know, she was an exceptional woman and she found a way to tell you that she loves you." "And that she will live as long as she is in our hearts...and that means she will go on for a very long time..."

There is nothing unusual about that at all. I can relate. My life was saved by my guardian angels three times, and when I think of someone three days in a row, they call me - even if it's been months or years, so nothing surprises me anymore. Your mom will always be with you, no matter what dear... the only things gone are worldly aminoacids and water, but the loving energy never, ever dies - that's not just physics, that's fact and I truly believe I will be able to be there for my family without this ailing decrepid shell - and better than ever. Another bonus, I will be with my guardian angels (aunt, step-dad, and a great friend) again. No more pain, away from greedy money mongers who use people... Heck, I might even visit L.A again walking in highheels to the following music, and change the Title to 'Chery was Here'! If you like, I'll take your Mom out with me..

    night,night,

Chery, that was nice. Alice (Mom) was always ready to dress up, put on her make up and walking shoes. She was always ready, loved to go out to see and try new things. She would love to be right by your side, I know this. And she would be happy and... giggling too... :p

Thank you so much... love you,

Honey, tell Alice to wait for me and we'll have loads of fun, I promis(SP). All she has to do is follow the noise of the party and great music. Look at my picture on the member thread a few times and she'll know who she needs to look for.

I think you and her would be fine... connection between the two of you...

She decided, after my step father passed that she was going to live life. And the last 15 years or so... she did. And she was a joy to be around. She traveled, stressed how our family should love each other and was always smiling and joking. It was clear that she intended to enjoy herself with her kids and 23 grandkids. She loved to smile, dance and give hugs...

She would have loved you too... :)
