Well its not my new job I started. Its still my old job. That was never overtime. He hates paying over time. He gave me a small raise to take on Saturdays and then put me on salary. Which in the end salary was worth it because I do take time off a lot. So it seems.
Ahhh right so soon you'll have the weekends off to chill :)

Probably my choice. I am kind of calling the shots at both places right now. How sweet is that. One wants me full time as soon as I can. The other wants me as much as he can or else the store closes. So I am right in the middle. Its kind off good for now.

I presume you probably like to stop working at your old place as soon as possible (because other wise you wouldn't have gone job hunting :D ) but I can see why it has its uses with christmas just round the corner, it can't hurt to have a little extra mulah lining your pocket :)
Just don't over do it working too much, this is the holiday season after all :)

Hey we got 5 inches of beautiful, white stuff last night. It is a damp snow that clumps into a ball easily just like the one you had Bear. First snow, everything is so beautiful and shinning.

I made JLo's pumpkin pie on Saturday. It was amazing. I'm not even a big fan of Pumpkin pie, I'm a once a year type of gal, but this stuff was amazing! I'll be up loading pic's to the thread tomorrow.

Bella, Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. I work with a lady who had shingles. She rarely complains about anything, but she talked about how painful they are. Hope you feel better soon.
I'm glad you like the pumpkin pie. I'm cooking Christmas dinner - well, it's at our house and I'm making prime rib, potatoes and sweet potatoes, and the dessert. Everything else is coming pot-luck style. My father-in-law asked me to bake the pumpkin pie again, but I still need to make one other dessert. I'm looking for something Christmassy - any suggestions?
Sunny - Sounds like you are working really hard. It's no wonder you are tired. Hopefully you are almost done at the old place.
I like to make blueberry buckle cake, with the bigger granuels of sugar on top. Sorry I am having a brain fart as to the name of the sugar I use.
And I usually attempt a red velvet cake. Let me know if you want any of the recipes.
OooO I also have a great recipe for Cranberry upside down cake as well as cranberry swirl cheese cake. Not at all tart, almost tastes like a strawberry rhubarb.
They all sound good. The blueberry would probably be my choice - I love anything blueberry. :)Quote:

Meh, I've definitely been better. I never knew shingles were so painful! Going to see my family doctor today.
Oh Unky, Shingles is a second round of chicken pox, but instead of being itchy they are extremely painful. Enough to make a grown man cry.
