Thanks you guys! Back at you! Well, I think it's bedtime. It's just been way too exciting here for me. I'm just exhausted! ;) Niki still wants to party, but I think I'm going to turn out the lights on her! She's getting too goofy! Hope she doesn't hurt herself. You know what too many dog treats can do! :p

Ah! Those are the AMHD members, my dear friends that I lub, who post a lot!! Lol. First of all, let me congratulate two of you, namely Alty and Starby for being promoted experts!

I was a little disappointed to see that there was no special thing here, in Haikou. No firework, just that we did a 'party' in the hotel. I met teens from Australia, Peru, France, China, Madagascar, Venezuela, new Zealand... and made many friends.
But now, they're all gone to their respective countries, except the Mauritians, as there is no flight until the 5th. We were supposed to spend the 1st up to the 4th at another hotel that where I was staying during the first days of the stay, paid by the Chinese federation, but the new hotel turned out to be... so... disappointing. The paint is crumbling away, the yard stinks, the 'pool' is half full, half empty and the water is dirty. In the end, I'm back to the last hotel. Now, activities have been cancelled, and I'll do shopping for the next two remaining days until we go to Hong Kong.
During the stay, we had an amazing opening ceremony, with songs, dances, wu shu demos. Then, the following days, we had Tai Chi classes. We had to perform for the closing ceremony.
Ps - I saw Batman some pages ago... thinking of which, I saw the last movie recently. It was like you said, wow! To think of it, it comes before some Batman movies, since Robin and Batgirl are no there, and the movie is about how double face came in the story.
Hey, it's now that I think of it, me and you (Starbs, Alty, Stringy, Guy, all of those in america) are at nearly complete opposite ends of the world. There's about 12 hours between you and me... lol

Thanks for the Congrats Unky! Yeah, Alty and I became experts the same day actually. It was kind of funny how it happened that way. It almost seemed planned or something... but it wasn't at all.
It sounds like you are having an incredible time... well except for the crappy hotel and no fireworks! We never get New Years fireworks where I live, so I don't even notice! Even when we do have fireworks in the summer, they are pretty lame! LOL!
So I guess it's almost 4 in the afternoon where you are then hey? I'm wide awake as usual. I should never lay down for a nap in the day, because then I can't sleep all night!
I tried to call our Momma C all day yesterday and New Yrs Eve, but something is wrong with my phone, and I couldn't get through! :(

Had lots of drama since I was here last time, lol. One employer screws you out of a couple works of paychecks and goes out of business, what do you do? Get a better paying job, that's more fun, with better benefits =D

It is fun! I get to basically do the same thing I did before, but now instead of being a consultant, I just work for one company, and get to deal with the same people. Plus everything is set up so much better here. And the people are nicer.
Plus I can get discounts on most airline tickets, train tickets, and hotels :)

I'm still a stay at home mom, the job that never ends, never pays (money), and is 24/7. I love it! :)
I have a new addition since you were here last, a puppy, beagle, now 4 months old, named Chewy, earns his name daily. ;)

Aargh. Don't you hate when you spend 4 or 5 minutes writing out a post, then accidentally close the window instead of sending it?
Only 4 or 5 minutes? Crap I've spent hrs writing something... and booom... gone! You want to talk maaaad! I wanted to smash my computer!
Lol. 70 words per minute and a short attention span :) 4 or 5 minutes per post is about the best I can do.
Has anyone been in contact with chery lately, haven't seen her around for ages and I was wondering how she's doing.
Haha! Mine was something I had to write up to send to the crime benefits program, and I had a deadline. Like an idiot, I didn't back up my work.
