Wow, you guys were saying before about the storms you were getting; I just heard a weather warning that Chicago is in for severe thunder storms in about a half hour; gusts up to80 mph and hail the size of golf balls...

All kidding aside, I could have called ahead and acted POed, but I've done business with them for years and everybody know me! It would be like walking into gramma's kitchen and complaining about the biscuits!
They didn't have to do anything, but they did!
And while I was waiting, a young guy came in.. Peddling a coupon book to the clerk. The clerk said, "I got one." So the young guy turns to me to see if I was interested... gave his schpeel... from D.A.R.E... I had given $50 earlier to the FAST (Florida Association of State Troopers) for their teddy bear fund.. so I caved and said, "OK" His buddy walked in and mentioned they were former G.I.'s... the first guy was a former Marine, and when I showed him my "old phone" had a ring tone that is the Marine Corp theme, he GAVE me the discount book that would have cost $20! IT WAS A GOOD DAY!!

"Bunker down?" That's what I intend to do after I tie down the house with chains. In the news they showed a couple homes that were crushed by big ol' trees that were snapped in two and a few cars blown over... oh well, me man; right?
