Yep I hear you. I thought this new prez was going to be Mr.Right and it would all turn around. Can't happen over night I know that. But I haven't seen anything impressive too much yet. I see the economy hitting here where I work. But so far so good. Getting by OK I guess since the doors still unlock every morning.

Lol yeah. I'm accually not sure why I'm not supposed to like the sox. My uncle does and he is like the 'pretend outcast' of the family. Everyone likes the cubs. Don't ask me why we aren't suppose to like the sox :P

You were about 15 - 20 miles from me, near Naperville, IL.

EDIT: What took you to Phoenix? Don't tell me that you were a telephone line repair person like like the song... Glen Campbell :) Or, I think that is the place he says in the song?

Wow, been there a lot of times... great experience, I must drive by it 5 times a week. :)

The "River Walk" in the evening is simply beautiful, a wonderful experience. And great restaurants and shopping too.

EDIT: Oswego is a nice area too HC.

Haha well, my dad was born and raised in jolliet, then joined the military, met my mom in California, got married, had me, we visited joliet ALL the time, usually yearly if not 2 times a year. My dad got stationed in oak harbor Washington which is where I grew up from age 2 till age 16. Then we moved to California again (in lemoore, outside of fresno) . He retired there and decided to move here to phoenix because his sister lives here, and they are currently trying to convince everyone in our family to move here, however I may decide to move AWAY from Arizona. I HATE it here!

Hey Cap'n! :) Doing well... busy these days, not much time to chat, but I've been answering questions here and there! :)

Yes, Oswego is a great area. Naper Settlement was one of my favorite jobs...

While we are on places to visit, Montana is at the top of my list, why you ask... Because I am convinced it is a government conspiracy and the state doesn't exist. I have never met anyone from there or been there, when you think of Montana, you think Joe Montana.

I agree, I haven't seen Alheart in a long time.

Funny Nohelp, I don't remember it being like that, maybe because I was young (er) :D But, it gets hot here in Chicago let me tell you, except this year so far...

I've never been to Hawaii, but I can tell you that I would love to retire in Montana, but preferably in Alaska.

Montana is my dream state, flat lands, weather, which I love, but the Winters could be rather rough. Hawaii is good, but no real weather, just sun and rain (which doesn't mean anything) because it's over in a minute or two. :)

I have had the chance to go twice, once on business/pleasure and for our honeymoon, eighteen days of heaven on Oahu and Maui. I would love to go back again, in fact I promised Marta that we would... :)

    Not bad, Sherriff.

I grew up in one of the prettiest places anywhere. Chattanooga, TN. Hills, rivers, lakes, forests, museums, parks, monuments, and two of the most advertised tourist traps on the planet: Rock City and Ruby Falls.
