Ah! Ok, I knew the word, through its sound though. I didn't recognise it as 'mile-age', the 'counting' of miles and was reading it as having the sound 'meelage' :p Thank you both! :D

Heys cats,I've a few miles under the bonnet, still rev pretty good though.
Not vintage, but not fresh of the lot either.
2 owners,well cared for,one minor crash,good shiny body,and four spanking new tyres.
A good little goer-- to sum it up.
What's it going for red? :D
well now good morning all!!
I see you sunny!
you know... this is just a really random thought... but I always dreamed about getting married to an islam, or an arab, or ANY of the middle eastern men... of course in my dream they are the ideal, polite nice guy, who takes care of his family, and has lots of money.
but no :P I married a poor mexican ;)
funny how our fantasys and realitys vary huh?
... I have to ask, why a middle eastern guy, though?
Hi kids.
Are we still talking about cars?
I am back!!
No Alty somehow I see it turned to men. What timing.
Well, see, my favorite types of movies, are the lifetime movies and the romantic movies and such (I like ALL kinds of movies but those are my favorite)
And I had seen a couple movies when I was younger about an american woman meeting and marrying a middle eastern man, and (in the movie) it seems to me that these men are far more responsible than american men, and I am a bit... ok a LOT of a MALE chauvinist (im a girl :P just a weird one) and I like the type of man/woman relationship in the middle east, where the man makes the decisions and takes care of his family, and my only job would be to cook clean raise my kids and care for my husband. (and in china and japan as well) (not to mention I find middle eastern men to be quite attractive.. )
Lets be honest here, in america, its hard to find a man like that, unless he is this way due to a BDSM lifestyle.
sorry im just bored and wanted something to talk about lol
Men with engines. ;)
We have to turn this around.
What happened to the castle? Who's taking care of the duck statue? There's pigeon poo everywhere.
Who's mercedes is parked on the draw bridge?
Bad kids. I can't leave you alone for a minute. ;)
Alty crack the whip! I am innocent in all of this I tell you.
Just going about my business.
Yes ma'am!!
*starts cleaning frantically*
Wow, that would not work for me at all!
I would not be able to live with a man that thought I was beneath him. As for cooking and cleaning and taking care of the kids, I'm happy to do it, but not because I have to.
When hubby and I first got married I was the bread winner, I was the career woman. When I got pregnant with Jared things changed and we both decided I'd stay home and raise him for as long as I could. It was tough losing my income, we struggled, but it was worth it in the end.
Then both my parents died and shortly thereafter I got pregnant with Sydney. At that time we could afford for me to stay home with the kids.
Now that both kids are in school I'm debating going back to my career.
If I had a husband that wasn't okay with that, one of us wouldn't survive.
It is hard. I've never been one to be idle though.
I do woodworking, I paint (oil paintings), I write. I always have something on the go, I'm not just a mom and a wife, I'm me, and I refuse to lose that.
Being a mother is the hardest job I've ever had and I've had some really hard jobs. It's been worth it. At the end of the summer it's time to get back into the adult world. My kids are in school from 8:30am until 3:20pm, no reason for me to sit on my arse all day waiting for them to get home.
I make tables, keyboxes, coasters, you name it. If it's wood I can make it.
I've posted this picture before, but here are some of my tables.

It's too exhausting!! :)
LOL! Nice Stringer. :)
The 'pigeon poo' you are seeing Alty is the treatment against the last poo the pigeon had left. These are nearly gone though. Some more days of treatment, and the statue will be as clean and bright as if it were a brand new one! :)
Mercedes? I don't know... :(
Good one Stringer! :p
Sorry, I'll move it...
Do I have to have a garage built for all the cars you boys are bringing in?
What about the horses? The carriage? Where will I put them?
Sigh. Being Queen is hard. :(
Put them all in the dungeon? :) ;) :D
Alty silly girl. The carriage was brought in for you. Its your ride with the beautiful red velvet and the white horses.
I grew the white roses that are draped around the horses neck.
Are you within budget?
Danke. :)
The ones I posted were a gift for a good friend.
I have been selling other things, but so far I haven't tried to sell my tables. Every time I make one hubby falls in love with it and insists that we keep it. I have more tables in my house then anything else.
Right now I'm waiting for some extra spending money so I can buy some wood. I'm planning on selling them at home. Sort of like a garage/craft sale. I just need to build up my inventory, then I'll see how it goes. I'm crossing my fingers. This would be a great little side business, especially because I love doing it.
My parents would be shocked. My dad never even let me use a screw driver when I was growing up. ;)
No sunny, that's not evil at all... (sigh)
Anyone want a teenager?
I've got loads, free to good home,I've a blonde and a brunette, very lazy and will eat the contents of your fridge in 10 seconds flat..
Best practical use, making coffee for you and... em,that's about it.
