Are you OK Stringer, really cause I was just kidding and wouldn't want your little feelers to be hurt, you know that already!
They were originally produced to relax muscles. But then they started making some people sleepy. That's why they are used as sleep aids in hospitals. The first time I got one was at age 18 the night before surgery. They gave me so much energy, I walked through the hospital all night. It depends on metabolism. For instance, when I was young and dumb, I tried speed with some friends - I fell asleep and was out flat in a corner for hours. So, Valium gives me energy and speed makes me sleep - go figure. Out of 100 people I've asked how they react, there is one more person in a group that has the same reactions.Quote:

So, babe, relax as much as you can and encourage your family members to learn stuff they need in life.

You are going to laugh but benadroyl has the same effect on me as valium. Vicadin makes me feel like spiders are coming out of my skin...
My husband is like you Chery. Valium makes him feel like he can climb the walls.
Yes... I think I need a battle tactic here... yes retreat and recoup... :pQuote:

Actually yes! I went to Fred's this morning to pick up a few things and saw them. People may have thought (known) I was crazy looking at crackers laughing. You put such a smile on my face :)Quote:

Ok Antics from a High School Story 1029.
Student fails a math test. Said student must get test signed by parent. So that parent does not see the test, student rips off the parents signature from ENGLISH test and staples it too the failing math test. Guess what... the teachers are on to her!!
Haven't cooked it to many times. I am trying a new recipe from a friend. It's the cheating kind... fresh vegs, but canned beans. I'm going to see if Wayne can tell the difference... it would save hours on the soaking and all.Quote:

[quote=Tuscany]With arthritis and fribromyalgia, and degenerative spine almost everything hurts. When I take 5 mg of valium, I can vacuum, wash the floor, even wash the tiled ceiling in my house all in one day. It hurts more the next day, all muscles on strike, but sometimes it's worth it to see the results. When I don't take one, I don't care about chores, but when I take one, I cannot sit still and need to do chores - so they are beneficial in many ways. I was warned that they are addicting, but at my age and with my type of cancer, I told the doctor that I don't give a darn, and they agreed. Funny, when I show them my CT, blood test and x-ray results, they all of a sudden are ready to prescribe anything I want, and even offer morphine, which I refuse to take because I want to keep a clear mind for as long as I can. So, life goes on, the meds I choose help, and I hope I last until the spring - so you guys better do a lot of finger-crossing for me, OK?Quote:
