Yeah :P
Thanks heaps Sneezy :)
We have bottles of hand sanitiser each that we use often.
I would go get Tamiflu but I can't afford a doctors appointment at the moment.
Coyuldn't really afford the one today for vaughn but he had to go, even though she just told him to rest
Got to love doctors. My mom once got sick. Doc looked at her throat and charged us 250 for a diagnosis that was "oh..she's very sick."
Hope you aren't going to be like that Sneezy :p
I just retrieved my pillow from "Swine Flu Central" aka - our bedroom.
Completely covered it in disinfectant spray and will now be sleeping on the couch :D
You kidding? I'm only doing this for three things:
Money, power, and chicks.
Shazzy, OMG! Stay safe girl, take care of yourself, listen to Sneezy, he may not be a doctor yet but he knows his stuff.
Sneezy, you know you're not only doing this for money, power and chicks, you're also doing it because you like the lab coat, it's a good look on you. ;)
Tee hee, I already ordered one embroidered.
... it says Sneezykins, M.D.
Don't worrie too much hon, my aunt is a nurse (granted, she is a cardiology surgery intensive care nurse) but she says that the swine flu is like a bad case of the flu. She told me that it got a lot of bad publicity simply because it killed a great number of people in mexico, however, as terrible as it sounds, mexico is not the cleanest place to be, and to have the flu and live the way they do, its no wonder many of them died. Its sad :( my husband has family in mexico and we may never know if they were among the dead.
jenniepepsi's right... the swine flu received a "national pandemic" status is because people were sick, and didn't receive proper care. Same thing with the regular flu... if it gets bad enough, and you don't go to the hospital, you may die.
The H1N1 virus has killed 816 people worldwide... while the regular flu kills 20,000 a year.
Yeah we had swine flu here in Arizona and my grandma got it. She had to be in the hospital, but not because of the SFlu its self, but because she is 72 and has MS and is in a wheelchair all the time. It was simply easier and much more comfratable (as amazing as it sounds) for her to have a fecal catheder (not sure what they are REALLY called, sorry) and IV fluids.
Thanks for the stats, Doc.
Shazzy, PLEASE be extra careful!
Hey y'all... Only checking in for a bit... My neck and shoulders are sore from both putting my boy on his slide and being hunched over my puter all weekend studying. :(
Doc... do you have a remedy for that?
Nothing a bottle of scotch and some massage oils won't fix ;)
Okay, as fun as talking about the flu is, I'm going to change the topic. ;)
My neighbor asked me if I wanted another bunny. Apparently the people that gave us Oreo (because they couldn't handle her) bought another bunny and can't handle her either.
Some people never learn. :(
I can't take in another one, my husband would kill me.
Do you think he'd notice if I put the new bunny in the same cage with one of the others?
Hmmm... interesting thought.
I'll get back to you guys on this one. ;)
