Lol. Yea, I'm going to the club tomorrow night. Don't ask how I'm getting in.
;)
I don't know... just felt like a change, I guess.
This weekend... shooting range, dinner plans, might go to a martini night at the local museum... and studying
Ah, I remember those days. One nice thing about living in Canada, the legal drinking age where I live is 18, don't you wish you could visit? :)
Really!! I could take a drive up there, I live in New York.
I wouldn't suppose there's a city similar to Las Vegas in Canada.
Martini night, wow, sounds chic. My life is sooooo boring compared to all of yours. I guess I've been there done that. I'd feel pretty silly going to a club now.
My friend got married last year and had her stagette at a club. This guy comes up to me, grabs my butt and whispers in my ear "Baby, I could make all your dreams come true." I laughed, turned to him and whispered "Honey, I'd kill you, believe me, I'm your worst nightmare." I thought that would make him run, but nope, he wanted me to prove it. Finally had to flash the wedding ring. Yikes, I can't imagine doing that every weekend.
Nope, but you can find tons of trouble in Edmonton. We do have casinos and the like, and the gambling age is also 18. What have I done, I'm contributing to the delinquancy of a, wait a minute, you're 19, you're no minor, never mind, come on over. ;)Quote:

Hey guys I've got to go, it's getting late and I have a long day tomorrow, not to mention that my eyes are killing me.
You boys be good while I'm gone, remember, I'm always watching, you can run but you can't hide.
I'll talk to you all tomorrow, take care and good night.
Alty out. :)
Really, well could you tell me what crazy position I was in last night.
You know what, forget what I just said, good night.
Morning all...
ALTY! I would have SO staged a sit in... wow... I'm SO sorry about your nutso doctor! That's beyond wrong.
Sheesh...
Oh, camping is tonight y'all. Woke up this morning and my first thought was... "urgh... sleeping on the ground... warm, satiny bed... *sigh*..." smelt the coffee, next thought, "YESSSS!!! Sleeping on the ground... sleeping bag!... woo-hoo!"
Coffee. It makes all the difference.
Sneezy, like the new pic!
Aww... I was watching Scrubs from my bed and I fell asleep. :(Quote:

Morning guys! :) I was out like a light early last night too...
I was out about 1AM... not exactly early, but not too bad, lol
Wow... in one respect, that is very early resty... :)
Aww... one of the guys I work with just brought me some of his homemade French Onion Soup. Its just like my Dad used to make... always makes me teary and sentimental. :)
He's a sweetie.
Awesome. I brought in no bake cookies a couple weeks ago... I make the best ones ever, but since I know what goes into a no bake cookie... it makes my heart want to stop beating, lol.
So where are y ou going camping this weekend? We used to go to a campground at the lake with my grandparents and stay in their trailer.
One of the guys owns a "back 40" of woods... we're just headed out there. Should be fun. :)
That is, if the thunderstorms don't come... I'm not opposed to a light rain while camping, but Day After Tomorrow stuff is a little bit daunting...
Yeah, we're supposed to have some severe storms here tonight, so that would get them to you around middle of the night or morning.
Awww... J_9... that makes me sad...
Rah...
Wondering what that is going to mean for camping... hmm...
It's going to mean that 'Roughing it' will earn it's title this weekend :)
It really depends on what it does crossing over the Mississippi... LOL, I can forewarn you about upcoming weather like a weatherman/woman.
Many times it just breaks up coming over the Mighty Mississip... It also depends on what direction it is heading. Hopefully we won't get ANY, we are way too wet already.
LOL!. thank you Resty, I.E. captain obvious! ;)
We usually get the leftovers from Chicago, but it's amplified over all the humidity while it crosses lake Michigan. Lately, though, everything has been coming up from around Kentucky and circling the oppisite direction... it's been nice and dry, and warm.
Hey, that's Charcoal Knight, to you, Princess :)Quote:

Lake Michigan... Resty, you always take me back to my childhood... I love it! :)
Lake Michigan is Beautiful... My kids got to finally experience it last summer...
I remember spending senior skip day at Lake Michigan. Tunnel Park I do believe.
Sadly, I left MI after 5th grade... didn't get to experience a skip day at Tunnel Park... but MANY a day at Greenfield Village! Still love that place.
Lol, I love the holland state park, I don't know that I've been to tunnel park. I know iv'e driven by quite a few times... when I did cable, I worked in holland every now and then.
I don't think I was actually gone on skip day... I'm pretty sure that was the day of the AP exam for my AP Calculus class. Everyone who didn't want to take the exam got to play Pretty Pretty princess with the teacher. I heard that he won... it was a sad, sad day for my calculus.
Duck Lake was by far my favorite beach though. It has the big sand dunes and very few people.
I remember camping up in Muskegon many years ago (can't remember the name of the park)... My husband (boyfriend then) was cooking bacon and eggs over the campfire, and we were tuning in the radio... could only get Milwaukee radio stations for some reason and the report of Jeffrey Dahlmer came on. Needless to say, we dumped the bacon and eggs in the campfire. LOL
Urgh... I'm going to pray that I don't think about that tomorrow morning when I pop my head out of my tent to the luscious smell of eggs and bacon... ;)
Lol, you're both too funny.
J, I've never been to duck Lake either! I passed a sign for it about a million times on my way from Allegan to Gobles, yet again to install cable... worked all over the freakin SW Mich area. Every time I drove by the sign I would laugha little... Duck Lake. Quack Quack.
OHG, HC, the storms may be over before you go camping. The thunder just started here, so give it a couple of hours to reach you if it's going in that direction.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
I take that back. Apparently there are two lakes called Duck Lake in SW Michigan. One is by lansing, and is huge. That's probably the one you're talking about.
The other one is like... straight west, lol. Past US131 and just past M40.
Thanks! Hopefully it will be gone by this evening... we'll see. A little rain never hurt anyone, but TN thunderstorms... that's a different story! :)Quote:

We need it though.
What we do NOT need, though, is the snow it's turning into tonight.
Rah. So excited about my drive now.
And my god, I am going crazy with my job.
Someone give me coffee and chocolate and a nap, okay?
