Welcome to my life... my wife is a vegetarian... and she is concerned about my health, so I eat lots of veggies too, not a fan of them at all... :(

I don't really have much food right now. I haven't been actually grocery shopping since the beginning of march. The amount of food I buy is limited to what I can carry on my bike, and the last time I went shopping was the beginning of the month.

I have raman, soup, and a frozen pizza. The few other things I have take ingredients I DON'T have. Then again, there's always pb&j.

I'm doing. I don't feel any different, but I'm still alive so that's good. :)

I go back to my doctor next week for more blood tests. My iron pills are almost all gone so it's time to see if they helped any.

Garlic yes... wife won't mind me having that... but the only meat I'm really allowed is Chicken... and once a fortnight I have beef, either stir-fry or a steak... which isn't too bad...

I love spinach salad. That's what I need to get when I go grocery shopping again. Fresh produce.

I started this new diet. My sister has been on and has lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks.

Protein and very low carbs... ( like atkins diet) breakfast and lunch

Then you get a "rewards meal" you can have no protein 1 hour before this meal or 1 hour after and it should be the same time everyday.

Rewards meal is anything you want within one hour but it needs to be balanced... protein, fats, carbs and yes it includes sweets too. I've lost three pounds in 2 weeks. It is easy for me to do. I don't think about food all the time now.

Will it really work? I have no clue but it is worth a try.

    Thought I'd share. :)

Alty, you can pay double and call them polenta if you want to.

Bella, use the coarsest ground cornmeal you can find. Shrimp and grits originated around your area, the Acadians brought it to Louisiana.

You don't have to bother getting a prescription for a sleeping aid. There are plenty of safe natural remedies sold over the counter nowadays which give you almost five hours of good sleep without waking up groggy.
