Kc, are you OK? Kind of worrying about you.

I just like fall because it is nice weather and I like the rain most of the times and it is usually cooler and I am pretty sure I like winter better than summer. I don't know I just hate being hot and I like being cold.

Red, I really really really want to go to Ireland. That is the first place I am going if I ever vacation to another country

I am doing decent Adam... been in a funk lately, but that is life.

I would LOVE to go to Ireland. Many of my family has HUGE Irish ties so I think it would just be breath taking.

I love those sunny winter mornings, where the air is crisp, and there's a hint of snow.

I learned something about myself today.
I have the capacity to eat 12 apple pies, and feel OK,the evidence is strewn around my computer desk...

    Suger rush.

I'm a pig. There were yum.

I live in kilkenny, even Google it,its an amazing city, steeped in history,we even have a castle!

If you ever do venture to ireland, bring rain gear!

I want a apple pie. Can you send one my way?

Most of my background is Irish and scottish.

I just think it would be beautiful over there from what I hear.

I can send you crumbs adam, there's a family bakery just down the road,I have a love hate relationship with them.

    Bring on the tourists!

The west of ireland is my favourite... stone walls and spanish point, lisdoonvarna, where they have the singles festival... its just a session!
But you have little pubs and trad singers in the corner, and someone wailing into a pint in the snug... its deadly.

    It's Spring here! THANK GAWD!!

We have had 20 weekends of rain IN A ROW!! That's almost half a year!!

    Thanks stringer,think I've bragged enough...

I'm fulfilling a promise I made to myself a long time ago, I will get my degree, come hell or high water, even if it takes me another 10 years,I will do it! Its one dream I'm not willing to let go.

School and getting a degree is nothing more than will power and perseverance. Good for you Red! I admire your dedication to your dream!

We should probably have a blow out party for your graduation.

Yes, I forgot to congratulate you on your results Red, very goo job.

I did the math. If everything stays steady, I will save $10 a week and in 2 years I will have enough money to travel to Ireland and get a motel. I will start saving this week. Ireland, here I come... in 2 years.

Hey Red! There were only two friends and me today at school. The classes are much more fun like that at times! The teachers are less less severe, let you do things (like peeking over their work ;)) which they wouldn't have allowed otherwise. The other lot of classmates no more come to school on Wednesdays because we have a GP class (the GP teacher is often severe, except today) and physical education. So they believe it to be a half day wasted.

The puter is still zoomed in... My aunt (she's in the early thirties) says it's perhaps because the graphic card was reset. Now how can I 'set' that? Any idea?

I'm not great with the old computers unky, have you tried going into all programs on your computer, you should be able to find the default settings,I'm afriad I only find these things by accidents and could not give you proper directions.

Have you thought about posting a question on the computer problems?

    Hey you Unky...
Always nice when someone is in a good enough mood to NOT be severe!! LOVE THAT!
    You have a great day!
Red, one thing at a time... a good friend of mine used to say start slow, then taper off! HEEHEE

What operating program are you running Unky? Windows or Mac?
  • Sep 23, 2009, 07:38 AM
    Unknown008

    Lol, OK gals.

I fear to post that in the forum because I know that few people (I think) use Linux. I've gone throughout the set of files, and I lost myself as there were so much!

Really Starty, my GP teacher talked about current issues in a friendly way (for your general knowledge for the GP class), talked about the other teachers she knew (the great thing about them, the funny part of them, etc) and talked about when she went to Rodrigues (an island to the east of Mauritius), how was she as a mother, etc.

My physics teacher was with his laptop, apparently got a virus of some sort on it. He had an antivirus... but it was disabled! Hey, do you know the expression 'cucumber headed' (more of a mauritian expression)? It can be used here. My physics teacher is cucumber headed, meaning forgetful and silly sometimes :p
