Oh and let me tell you what a nice new black shirt can do for Mondays... woo woo;)
Thanks Biggie and Starty. I know I did the right thing, what's haunting me is, what if she really had a tummy ache? Darn this twenty twenty hindsight. :( I'm sure she's okay, her teacher is great and I'm sure she calmed Sydney down.
This parent stuff is tough. ;)
Tough is right... gosh.
Just think, she will call if she is going to throw up... ;) She will be fine love.
I'm more worried that she'll have another "accident" in her pants. I don't want her to be labelled the pee pee, or poo poo princess in school. Kids can be mean, and she's so sensitive.
She'll be okay, I know it, my head knows it, my heart's fighting with my head. Darn heart. ;)
Okay, cleaning time, I'm setting up Syd's bunkbed today, then I'm painting this weekend, finally. Pink, pink, pink, yup, pink. Somehow I think I won't be liking pink anymore once I'm done. ;)
PINK! :)
I will always love pink... you go MAMA!
Awww, damn, my cell phone won't work... sheesh
Anyone want to go to class for me? :)
You fix my phone, I will go to class... LOL
... tempting :p
I need to go pay an arm and a leg for my books before class too... stupid bookstore
I hear those books are the hardest part of going to college;)
Off to work, have a great Monday everyone! (Tuesday for you Friend)
See you on the flip side... hahahahahahha
Adios Starty!
I'm out of here myself - time for class then some work afterward.
Adios!
Happy Monday to everyone!
HC, still hanging in there?? Been thinking about you and hoping you are doing okay with the stuff-n-stuff! Sorry you got a sunburn... OUCH!! Feel better and stay strong... things will get better, easier, doable anyway!
Starty, have a good work day! Sweet story about your boys. That was too precious!
Biggie, hope school goes well today. It's a pain at times but will be worth it.
Alty, try not to worry too much! My heart breaks for you though. Crystal went through a hard time in first grade after weeks of doing just great and so happy then all of a sudden, "shy girl". I walked her to the class room one particular morning because she was upset and did not want to go to school. Her teacher was a caring and sensitive teacher so I knew she would look out for her (she knew she was going through a shy time) but I walked her to the classroom door, her teacher was right there, gave her a quick kiss and said, "Love you. See you later Baby!" She said "Ok" but as I turned to walk away, I heard her holler "MAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!" and out of the corner of my eye, saw her start to run after me and her teacher grabbed the hood of her little jacket. That was a hard thing to do to just keep walking but knew for her good I had to. She ended up loving school, made 4.0 was a cheerleader, held offices, honor classes, graduated from University and became a Physical Therapist and is on the brain injury trauma team. Loves life, still loves school and talks about going back to become a doctor at some point. I don't share this as bragging but just to give a little perspective that what you are feeling now won't be a permanent thing and your little girl will blossom and probably never even remember the shy days. She is a beautiful little girl inside and out and is probably surrounded by little friends from the time she gets to school until she leaves but all mama sees is the shy little one, and all our worries that go with that. We moved to another state when I was in third grade. Had loved school up until then. I have a real heart for the shy little ones as well as the "Mama's broken heart" but Alty, it will be okay. I bet she comes home today bubbly and sharing all about her fun day!! It's always hardest on us mom's!!
Thanks, Rebbie. I'm trying not to think about it. I'll be good until I get home. :)
Then, I'll hit the pool again... and add to my sunburn! :) lol.
Mr. Sheriff, you are quiet this morning! Funny story! Loved her "courage"!! LOL
OUCH Little HC! You take care of that sunburn! Have a great day and PM or post "as needed", you know!! :)
Thank you princess... here is something to keep you busy for a few minutes;
Play With Spider - Flash 3D - OneMotion.com
I had that little guy spinning so fast, it took him a long time just to figure out how to get out of the ball he was in the shape of... ah... so we have these in the Castle??
So, Sheriff, I am still Princess today and not Ducky, right? And all is well in my world?
I am going to hope so, I so don't like to make you sad and feel guilty!! :(
I am going to go paint and wish everyone a super day!! Bye bye for now!!
Love you princess... it's just when ever I eat or drink things that Alty gives me..?
Rebby, thanks for the story, it made me feel better. No call from the school, I hope that means she's okay. I still here her little voice crying for me, sometimes it's harder on us then it is on them.
One day she'll have kids, then she'll understand. ;)
Stringer, I can't eat the Rebbie duck, I feel guilt now too. I think we should just let her fly, fly, fly, we'll go after the Starduck instead. ;)
Hey all!
Only back for a minute... Eating lunch quick then going outside since its beautiful out to read two chapters I need to read for class. Maybe I'll meet some interesting people :p
Then I need to write a summary by by 90 minutes from now and then workout, dinner and class from 6-9... holy cow!
Nevermin - no time :( Time to write papers :( :(
QUACK! Oh sure... why am I more tasty? :eek:Quote:

Talking about it just makes all those feelings of helplessness flow back - but then, at the same time, talking about it really helps. I may just call you later. I'm not sure though. I have to stay at the College until 6 tonight - then I'm going to make cookies.
Baking helps me cope. I made a blueberry cheesecake yesterday afternoon. Lol. My co-workers LOVE me. :)
Oh yummmmyyyy! Blueberry Cheescake? I'm drooling! :D
Call ANYTIME! I understand all too well, unfortunately! Sucks, doesn't it?
Cause we have taken the time to "PRE" pare you my dear... you only have that one feather left and I am now putting out a REWARD for that feather!!Quote:

You just watch out Sheriff Stringy! I will swoop down when you least expect it, and eat your greenie! Ewwwwwww... that really didn't sound good! ::cough cough::
Yeah... blueberry cheesecake. Its completely gone. Lots of guys around here... and college students. You put the two together and your baked goods are virtually INHALED.Quote:

Men. Sheesh. :D ;)
(present company excluded, of course!)
You've hypnotized them with baked goods! They aren't in their right minds Chicky! Hmmm... gives me an idea! Do you think if I started to bake good things, that I could leave them outside of each door, and I could get rid of my baseball bats? Or will they just entice them, and think there is more inside? LOL!
LOL! No idea, Starby... the male mind is a mystery to me...
:)
THe feelings mutual ;) :)Quote:

You have to admit Biggie. We could have you down on your knees for a really good cheesecake! :p
Cheesecake is good, but I think I've got the willpower to resist...
I'd have to use my eating healthy plan for extra strength :p
... now I'm hungry :(
You don't understand men either? :p ;)Quote:
