I was studying, and lo and behold, I get a call from my mother, literally acting as if there were a scud missile heading to atlanta. She said my brother got hurt, that I should hurry home...

... he was working out with weights and dropped his weight on his face, cutting his lips. The cut was the size of a pimple.. . that was it.
Granted, his mouth is a little swollen... he's in a teeny tiny bit of pain... but... yeah.
Now, I'm taking him out to teach him how to drive... then we're going to go see the Dark Knight. I'll let you guys know how it went.

I looked at him and laughed. I looked at my parents and started laughing at them. I mean... COME ON!! Yes, he was bleeding, but so what?? Ahhhhh! I drove 30 minutes for that mess.
Sydney fell down today and scraped off around two layers of skin 3 inches wide on her knee, it bled everywhere and she didn't even cry, she's 5. Tell your brother that story. ;)

Oh my goodness, I took a run on the bike late tonight, just to check out the castle one more time, thinking I might not be so scared and look what I found, just hangin' out waiting for some innocent bystander such as myself or Sneezy to come by just so he could have a snack. If it hadn't been for the mighty power of the Rebel bike, we would have been goners. Whew! That was a close call! Well, that's bad news for me. I had just been hoping I could apply for trainee position as deputy also but then I hear those cold hard words, "all that's needed is courage"! I am so sad! You know I love Stringer but I did tell Alty I would try to get her whip back so I am thinking maybe, if that croc is laying in wait some night and Stringer needs to get from the castle across the mote, maybe he and I can get on my bike jump the mote and provided we survive, ask him nicely for the whip for Alty. Of course, Stringer being the Sheriff and all, could always confiscate it again from Alty if he catches her unaware. She is a pretty smart little cookie though, he might have his job cut out for him!!
