Sydney got a makeup kit for Xmas (not from me, she's only 6!) Anyway, I let her go to town and took pics.

She is adorable, it's scary. I just hope she keeps the attitude she has now. If you ask her if she's pretty, her response is "Yes, but I'm smart too, and that's more imortant!"

Of course she's still young,but when that first boy comes knocking on my door, I may have to pack my bags and haul her away to a cabin in the woods!

I might want to get that gun soon. ;)

Actually, the gun laws here are ridiculous. You pretty much have to offer up your first born to get a gun, forget a permit, not likely!

We do have a few rifles, but they're not under my name so I'm not allowed to touch them. But, if some young guy comes here with a gleam in his eyes for Sydney, well, he better run better than I can aim! :D

Some things are better, some are worse.

Our health care is definitely less expensive, but, depending on where you live, winter's are definitely hard here!

I'm originally from Germany, moved here when I was 3 1/2 years old. I'm still not use to the winters. They suck! ;)

You have to have a permit here in Indiana and you can't walk out of a gun store without filling out paperwork and show that you have a permit.
