Chocolate Chip. Just pulled them from the oven. Soft and warm. Very tempting.

Plus for some reason I have a hinkering for Taco Dip. Seriously what are the odds I would have all that in the cuppards. I do. Woo hoo. Taco Dip, beers and cookies. What a beautiful winter day.

Smoothy, after I wipe your drool off I will have one for you.

    Question of the day.
Am I the only one who had to wear bread bags on there feet to keep them dry?
    Ah the memories.

All right, things aren't going to well in my life right now, and I can't get the help I am needing from this site like I was hoping, so I am just going to leave the site. It has became a place I can't be around anymore. To those who are actually a good friend to me, you know how to get ahold of me. I am not finding an outing from my problems so maybe I will just take the easy way out and be done with it all.

I am back today. I was really really done with everything yesterday. I couldn't stand anything. Just very stressed right now. I woke up this morning with a complete head of gray hair.

Hey I have seen many men with a head of gray hair and they were pretty hot. Just saying. Be happy you didn't lose it all during the night.

Now spill it? What's the deal? Let mama help you. ;)

Oh adam everything will be fine. You can make this work. Look at it this way. Paying this or paying higher rend for a crappier place.

I strongly suggest you negotiate with everyone. It's amazing how cooperative and helpful providers, vendors, etc. when they realize you aren't a deadbeat. Have you checked out State Farm yet regarding the home insurance? They will offer you a special deal if you use their company for both auto and home.

I agree WG, I use State Farm for home, car and other insurance and they (like some others) discount the overall pricing.

Also Adam when deliberating your price for home owners insurance possibly ask them what is the bottom line that you need for proper coverage as you may be paying for more coverage than you actually need.

Negotiating is so true adam. These days companies will go above and beyond to keep a client. I have seen it over and over when I worked at my bank. You will be fine. Your first step is to start talking. When we were doing our mortgage for our new home I remember our topic of escrow coming up. I know how that can stink sometimes. So I asked what happened if I changed my mind. You not tied to that it can be changed. Talk with your bank.

This may be positive thinking or not. But I guess with me its black or white. Either way you have to pay it right? Escrow or not. Either way you have to budget that in. You find a way and make it work. Don't lose your home. Don't give it up just yet. This is so minor. You will work it out and be fine.

Thanks to everyone. You are making me feel better.

So far out of the insurance companies I look at they are cheaper on the home but more expensive on the auto part. I like my auto where it is, I think my best bet is to switch home insurance, I just don't know how it will put me behind even more than I am. I have never missed a mortgage payment or any payment that I have ever had and it worries me that something is going to go wrong.

You do your auto and home on the same insurance? Why not think about breaking them up? I get better rates this way. I am not a good driver. I am on my 4th license. I have a DWI and hate saying it. But there are still companies out there giving me great rates. I had been given good advice not to keep my home owners and auto on the same insurance. Check in to that.

This site sucks! Why do I always say things that embarrass me or make me feel like I should hide under a rock? Grr.r... I guess maybe if I can say my mistakes and someone learns then its good right.

That is very good Sunny, it takes a lot to say what you said and it does tell a story to help me. It should make you feel better.

My insurances are separate as of now.

Smart people learn from their own mistakes... as well as those that others make.

    And who hasn't made mistakes?

I could write a book on mistakes as I am sure we all can. Just some things I am not so proud of. But if it helps others I spill it in shame in hopes to grow.

    Now apple pie all around.

    I know.
Funny as you get older you hear them. I have heard some family secrets I prefer not knowing. Some things are better left unsaid.

Now, I was watching my weather last night and the talk of the town was Chicago. Poor Stringer. They showed Lake Shore Drive and all the abandoned cars. Yikes we didn't get it that bad. I kept thinking of him.

Hey!! You weren't worried about me? I'm even closer to Chicago than he is! Because of the drifts, I can't see his house from my back porch any longer!

It took my son three hours to clear his driveway and sidewalk and front porch/porch steps yesterday afternoon using only a shovel. My husband and other son needed almost two hours to clear our driveway, etc. while using shovels and a snowblower. The village snowplows keep plowing snow in front of the drives, so there is continual shoveling of that.

We so want spring, but then there will be the melting and flooding...

So nice that you are thinking of me Sunny for whatever reason. :)

What I understand there were over 150 cars stuck on Lake Shore Drive by the lake. I live in the suburbs west of Chicago now but for 4 years I lived at Lake Point Tower right on the Drive... Glad I am out here now. However my driveway is plowed but not the street so I still can't get out, there are 5 foot drifts in the street.

I saw a photo of one with the driver door open. The wind was so bad, and the snow was blowing everywhere, every which way, with visibility down to nothing. All anyone who was outdoors Tuesday night cared about was getting to shelter. I'm guessing there is a good explanation for how the truck was left. I can think of several.

Why anyone would put it down in the fist place is a question... and why they couldn't take a moment to put it back up is another.

Having to abandon it I can understand... its why they put it down and didn't put it back up that made no sense at all.

I couldn't tell what it was there was so much snow inside it... looked like a pickup... could have been a bus however.

Hell, I don't even leave my windows down in summer on a sunny day and I live in a safe reasonibly crime free neighborhood.
