I think this is a wonderful website while you are going through no contact.

It is such a difficult process and that is why we see the continuation of so many toxic relationships. This website helps in SO many ways, I don't know where I was before here. I get help with my problems, satisfaction from helping others with theirs and confidence in the fact that I am not the only screwed up one out there and in fact there are others in worse situations then I am.

Awwe, you are such a sweet guy Stringer. Thanks.

I only have one problem, he comes in the form of an ex-husband. UGH.

Oh and then there is the commitment phobic man I date.

And the crappy job I have.

The fact that my mother OD'd again yesterday and is back in rehab.

    And then there is... j/k.

I live a good life. If we didn't have our own problems, how would we help others with theirs?

Nope... I need my heroes... (Stringer holding his hands over his ears) you said 'one problem'... ok then, ONE only... pick. :)

    Stringer,

I don't have any problems today. So we don't have to pick any.

It's a beautiful day outside. Would you be my neighbor, would you be mine? Could you be mine?

(Okay)... ~~~~~'It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood'~~~~~~'today we are going to be good neighbors'~~~~''Can I be your neighbor?' 'Do you know that neighbors can be good friends?' 'Can we say "good neighbors?" 'I like this plan, can you be neighbors with your hero?' :D

Ha ha! Oops laughing too loud in my cubicle.

I can't believe I had to make a signature for Herb- it had to be done or other readers would think I am gender confused-- haha now that would be funny.

    Alty

Hello, my name is Alty and I am an AMHDoholic. I spend at least 3 hours a day on AMHD, that's all I'm admitting to, can't make me admit to more, denial is my right!

    I may need help. :(

    Cute!

I'm a AMHDoholic but don't know where to go to kick the habbit. I answer the same question everyday regardless if I am sick of it. Don't know why! When I signed up to this site there was no disclaimer about you becoming addictted to this site but I did and have to have my daily dose of AMHD.

I overheard that the admins are trying to get AMHD & Twitter together.. Now that's double the addiction. It's AMHD on crack.

Yes, I too, will not give up my daily fix.

I love it here. I'm not leaving.

I've been reading the threads for a long time and finally joined in.

I can tell you that many, many of you have helped me more than I can tell you (probably way more than you want to read).

For that, I THANK YOU ALL FOR SHARING YOUR WISDOM AND HUMOR!!

Hmm, should I be worried I'm going to become addicted? I like this site and I do find myself reading threads but I usually get distracted by my toddler before I finish or can respond to anything I read.

    Fresh meat..

I have a toddler too. Make sure you give HER attention before AMHD. You don't want her to think that the computer is more important than her.

Every time my daughter tugs at me I go do whatever she wants me to do. I'm in and out of AMHD. Questions will always be there- the computer is always going to be there but your toddler will soon grow up to be a pimply teen and say "leave me alone-- I need my space mom".
    http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:...queakyteen.jpg

If your writing a response keep it on the computer and come back to it later- the thread will always be there [unless it's closed by an administrator or moderator because it was inappropriate].

You'll be fine! AMHD is always better than any street drug ;)

Hello, my name is Starby, and I don't know what the hell all you people are talking about!! Did you not receive your AMHD non addiction kit in the mail that included the pills? They are the ones labeled "denial." I feel just fine, and I'm not addicted to this place at all! That's just silly!

No I wouldn't say your addicted. You have 3,121 posts since Jan of 2008- which makes it an estimated average of 8 posts per day [where as mine is at an average of 14 posts per day :(]

    You've survived the disease!

The weird thing about me... is that I found the site once, posted my first question, got the answer and returned only after three months. Then, the addiction started... 10 posts per day, then 15, and more!! Then school work and tuition work started being bulky and I had to slow down on here. Then my dad had some... umm problems and I re-entered the site after some months. Afterwards, no more internet, only way to connect is through library, where I could go only after school if I hadn't tuition. Finally, got a connection from NetPC, which turned out to be a cr*p of connection. Re- library. And now, got the connection :D

What pills? My kit only has used bandaids and eye drops. And the eye drops did not help with the red eyes and burning!
