Gran Torino - stars Clint Eastwood as an old fashioned war vet who just wants to be left alone, but his neighborhood is crawling with Asian immigrants that stick to their customs. Gang fights and such occur, and Eastwood befriends a friendly neighbor, an Asian kid who wants to be left alone by the gangs. Overall, Eastwood did an amazing job... everyone else... I kind of wish they died. The lead actress made me think she was on sedatives the entire time. Even a 4-year old girl who had one line in the movie did a better job than the lead actress. 8 out of 11 for Eastwood... everyone else needs to find a new career.
I want to see Slumdog, I've heard many great things, it's on my list.
