Well, abear. I do not like taking anything but at least these give me an extra couple of hours. Normally get 3 or 4 hours a night. So getting 5 or 6 is better. The only thing is if I get up. It makes me feel really heavy and sometimes drowsy when I do get up. Everything has side effects.

I have tried herbal but does not really work for me. No trouble getting to sleep but staying asleep. Yes, they are prescribed. The ones I have are what they also use for people that have anxiety attacks and stuff, but they also prescribe them for insomnia. I rarely use it and the doctor has me on the lowest dose possible.Quote:

Albear, everything has side effects and actually some herbal medicines may have stronger side effects depending on what you use and combinations of other things.
