I learned that spelling and grammar are very important in asking and answering questions.

That there are many people out there who just want someone to listen to them and not just to be told to take a pill and go away.

That a surprisingly high number of Kenmore appliances fail, I will avoid this brand.

I've learned that I'm more normal than I thought I was.

I've learned that there are a lot of movies out there that I missed in the 80s and 90s that sound pretty cool and I should probably see.

I've learned that no one has to do it alone... there are people all over the world willing to help you. You just have to ask.

There are a lot of pet owners out there that would rather wait about for an answer than see a vet and have there beloved pet treated.

Yes, this always seems weird to me, like there's going to be a simple solution "oh just put some windex on it, no need for a vet..."

Or somebodies eye sight. They are going blind and are waiting for a week from an answer from us before going to the eye doctor. All it is, is stupidity.

Along with much of what has already been posted...

Many people won't talk to their partner about sex, but they are willing to have bad sex and wonder why its still bad... how screwed (no pun intended) is that?

People all over the world have been as stupid as I was about relationships when younger.

I think I have become an expert on the NO CONTACT rule.

As a young lady (is 23 still young these days?) I've learned that there are so many here with so much wisdom and sense- just half of which I can only hope to gain with time and experience.

    As a new member,
I have learnt to appreciate my inititave and the many roads it didn't lead me down..
Oh and on top of listening sometimes being more effective than opening my mouth...
I now know that I can learn even more from reading rather than writing

I have been around long enough to realize the world is full of people full of themselves long before I came here. I am pleased to learn how many highly skilled tradesmen there are here now, that are willing to give hours and hours of their time to help the DIY. There are some others, but I want to mention Speedball1, tkrussel, and Northern Heat. Oh, just like some other sites, we have a few professionals trying to protect their turf from those outside the priesthood.

I too have learned a lot about plumbing along with cars, electrical, and certain legal issues I didn't know before.

I have learned about helpful web sites that I didn't know existed.

I have also learned the adage is true: Common sense is not all that common.

I have learned that many children worry more about their health than we give them credit for and that they are afraid to ask their parents for fear of ridicule.

    Didi,

I love your answer and wish it was mine. Lol

I've learned that even smart folks can ask daft questions. So there is hope for me yet. Lol
