Smoothy, I know what you mean about the flow of that movie. I kind of felt that way with Apocalypse Now. Like when he was in Cambodia, I found it a bit hard to follow at times.

The only one st in stone on my list is Fear and Lothing.

    I could change others for

Das Boot , One flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, Catch 22 , The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy , Band of Brothers,

My list changes as I'm reminded of other movies , this crowd has excellent taste.

The Animal House... what a dark movie! Or am I thinking of 1983? Both books were excellent.

You mean 1984 by George Orwel? Yes that was a good one too.

Animal house is a true classic... often imitated... never equalled.

John Belushi was great in Animal House. :D

I like the book Animal Farm, but I really haven't found a screen adaptation (including Patrick Stewart's) that gives me the same feeling that the book does.

I think because I was younger (13) when I read the book, I didn't appreciate it as much as I would have reading it now. The movie I saw when I was older (20ish), so it had more of an impact on me. I might just pick up that book at the library today and re read it.

Yeah... saw some passing video of her in a wheelchair in the last few weeks. Thought to myself... its not going to be long before she meets her maker looking that bad. Sure enough it wasn't.
