I didn't get around to finishing our outside lights this year :(
V always helps me set them up just before it gets dark, so we can see how they look turned on, but still have just enough light to untangle the lights :D
Only this year he has been leaving for work at 7pm every night :( It gets dark at 9pm :(
I got a few up, but it's just not the same doing it all myself.

That was a few years ago. This year it's even worse. We had a blizzard yesterday. Driving is not recommended. I hate snow! :(
I'm tellin' you Alty, Tasmania, it's the place to be ;)
No snow, coldest it gets is -3C and that's at night in the middle of winter.
I am finally getting around to this. Jeez what a busy time. With any luck it works. I have been having issues trying to load pictures here. But here it goes.
This is the smallest tree I have ever had in my life! For some reason that was the lucky one I chose. Small, full and cute. Our pretend fireplace for our stockings is our stereo.
I have had my stocking for nearly 38 years now.

That reminds me. I haven't put the star on top of mine yet. Geesh. I'm so out of the loop this year. I'm not feeling it. It doesn't seem like Christmas. :(

Like I said these pictures are being a pain.
I love my pillars on my island. You can't see it as well as real life. I wrapped berries and white lights. So so beautiful in the evening. I am in heaven here.
Thank you Alty. Well usually I pick out the biggest on the lot and the hubby swears under his breath the entire time. This year I was so tired of the move and the new house and the mess all summer I just wanted small and cute. I was sure he would be happy. Well low and behold he was let down I didn't get the biggest. Grrrr... men! Wait 'till next year!Quote:

Men! My dad always picked the coldest day of the year to go out and get our tree. He'd drag me and mom along, we'd find the tree and then he'd spend what seemed like hours haggling over the price. Boy do I miss those days. ;)Quote:

I think that Christmas just snuck up on me this year. I'm usually much more on the ball than this. I can't believe it's already the 19th. I have so much left to do that even if I was in the Christmas spirit, I wouldn't have time to enjoy it.
