I took my vacation (at least the first 10 days of it) in 3 feet of base snow and up to 6 or 7 in some of the drifts.
We extended the planned time we scheduled in that section of the Uinta Mountains by four days because we got snowed in.
But we all were prepared , it is not an uncommon thing in that area. (9,780 ft above sea level)
The only one who had trouble in that situation was my yorkie Muttley.
It is a good thing he fits nicely inside my coveralls . He hates being left behind anywhere.

But it is good to be home and back to AMHD.

And one more thing Ohso,(and I say this in a grandfatherly way)....I find your avatar to be intriguingly sexy . Great choice.

Now then. It' been a while (again) since I've been on. I've been really busy. After my vacation I had to get ready for school and I'm working a lot. So between work, school, homework and Nick Idon't have a whole lot of time. And I only see Nick every other weekend. Which means my life is insane. NOW I will be moving in to my VERY OWN APARTMENT! YAY! I'mreally excited about it too. I'm going to be doing a lot of coupon shopping, but I'm okay with that. And I'm still going to be in the same building, just a different unit on another floor. So I'm still close to my mom and my neighbors (whom I consider family) So that's all good. Mom and Dad will be helping me out too. My dad's sending me bonds once a month and my mom's giving me about $100 for groceries or whatever. The cats won't be too expensive either. If I have to I can join Sam's club and buy litter ad catfood in bulk. :)

So that's my life. Hope all is going well with everyone else.

Oh,another thing. Kind of a scary story, but the ending isn't too bad.
This happened today.

So I was leaving my house on my way to the bus stop, when my managr came out of her building. She offered me a ride to the bus stop cause it's kind of a far walk in the cold. So I said yes. As I was putting my backpackin the passenger seat I hear a thud and the car shakes. I go around to the back of the car and she was on th ground hitting another car with her scraper. The man in the car supposedly didn't see her and he BACKED IN TO HER! Not the car, her. He hit her with his car. If he had hit the gas and backed up any further she would have been dead. Luckily she only has a bump and a bruise. I could tell that she was mostly okay cause she was able to stand up and yell "What the he** is your problem?! Are you F****** Insane?!" Her hip/ back really hurt but she's okay. She was on her way to the hospital to see her dad anyway, so she said she might go to the ER when she gets there. Hopefully she's not that hurt. She's not old, but she's no spring chicken, about 53. I feel bad for her. And I wanted to put the car scraper that she was using to hit his car right up his you-know-what.
