Thanks art ;)
Last year I did some on my list:
-bungee jump [at 200 feet]
-plane jump [at 10,500 feet]
-car jump [that's when you have two cars on two lanes and you jump in the other one and back and forth]
----my jumping days are done..
My body was at an extreme high... but I don't think I'll be able to repeat it--- I was really well super shakey.
Sarah
Major props to you. I don't think I could jump out of anything... I am TERRIFIED of heights... one of those guys that won't even go on a big roller coaster... God I am a panzy... perhaps I will put that on my list. Ride a roller coaster that isn't made for children.
Be well-loved by those who know me best.
Trust me when I was on that plane, and on the edge I had tears running down my face, my heart was thumping out of my chest and I swallowed my vomit [eww TMI?].
Then it came to a point where I couldn't hear anything the instructor said and I could only hear my heart... I just jumped...
And that feeling is... unexplainable. It's just WOW.
--Let's go to Busch Gardens KC ;) Let's man you up.
Sarah
Ditto for me KC. I can't stand heights.
Let's go together, we can cling to each other and cry! :D
My list;
- Visit my family in Germany again.
- Go to Hawaii with the kids.
- Rent a motorhome and go all over Canada and parts of the US.
- Write my biography so my kids will remember me.
- Have a romantic weekend getaway with just hubby and me.
- Get my book published.
I should stop, this list could go on forever! There are so many things I still want to do, I hope I have the time to do them.
KC, big roller coaster in West Edmonton Mall, come on down, we'll go, I'll buy. Afterwards we can go find a bar and drink ourselves silly, if we're not still puking.
Alty, you have the order mixed up. You need to ge me drunk before I go on the roller coaster... I don't puke on rides, I just tense up and get VERY nervous... I am the biggest baby ever when it comes to that stuff
Two years ago hubby and I took the kids to Klondyke days in Edmonton. They had a huge ferris wheel. I'm terrified of heights, but I wanted to appear brave in front of the kids so I agreed to get on.
Hubby knows about my fear, so as soon as we get to the top he starts rocking back and forth making the darn thing swing. I grabbed my son, he was 8 at the time and started screaming.
Sydney, my daughter, who was 4 then, looks at me with this disgusted look on her face. I don't think I'll ever live it down. :(
Jared is like me, he was scared too. Sydney went on all the rides, even begged to go on ones she was too small for.
After the ferris wheel I stayed on the ground. That's enough excitement for this decade! ;)
If you vomit on me we're going to have words.
Okay, drink first, then go.
I guess it would be a bad time to mention that people have actually died on that roller coaster. There was a malfunction many years ago, three people died.
But it's been running well ever since. I'm sure it will be fine. :D
LOL Alty.
You an KC can go to coney island instead

Sarah
I will take a raincheck, in that case...
You have a Jared too Artsy? Aren't they great? ;)
KC, don't be a chicken. I'm sure they've checked everything over and over again. What are the odds of it malfunctioning again? I'll hold your hand, and I'll bring a barf bag (for me).
Muddy, what's with the Coney island ball gag circus freak lady?
Have you already written the book Alty, or are you talking about the biography?
Get writing girl! We want to read lol
I really need to get to Ireland, don't know why, it's just something I feel. I have a pull to see the lands. Weird Huh? ('I' before 'E' except after 'C', again weird)
I also want to win the Lottery, so that everyone I love will be OK after I'm no longer here to help them (not that I'm a lot of help), but I need to know that they will all be OK.
I also want to be Truly Happy with everything. Good luck with that... *I say to myself*
Oh! I'm working on a book too, just for my family, even though my family thinks I should get it published.
