No, you don't want to know. ;)

Do remember that if I accept a dare, you also accept a dare. It's tit for tat baby. :D

Ah, but you never asked for the rules.

It wouldn't be any fun if you're the only one daring. Would it?

You're not afraid, are you? ;)

Oh alty, I know something about snow that you'll like

Seeing little bunny footprints in the snow :D

(I went into uni today and while I crossed one of the campus grass areas I saw lots of little rabbit tracks in the snow :) )

I love little bunny footprints in the snow.

We live in the burbs so we have a lot of wild life around, especially rabbits. I love when there's a fresh snow fall and you can see the little footprints. :)

Of course skunk footprints are not that cute.

I don't think we have wild skunks over here, if we have I've never seen one :)

But it did make me smile to see them and to see the trail theve made especially as it leads back into the bushes :D

Muddy, you have to play to win. :)

Bear, we do have skunks. They usually stay hidden during the day (they're nocturnal) but if you get up in the wee hours of the morning you can see them. Sometimes you can smell that they've been around.

I know Starby had a huge problem with skunks in her yard and the fact the Niki thought they were friends and wanted to play.

There's nothing that smells worse then a dog that's been "playing" with a skunk.

Hahahaha, I bet she had some fun washing niki every so often, or being woken up by the smell :D

... There's a skunk that hangs around my area. I don't mind him because oddly enough I like the way they smell. I've never been sprayed at.

One time I took out the trash at 4AM [yes I was a little ahem.. drunk] and he was there and I didn't notice him and actually thought he was a little garbage bag that had fell from the can, I went to go reach for him and my eyes focused and for some reason I kept going for it and realized his tail was up and it's like my brain awoke and I said out loud "Oh sh!t a skunk"... I ran like hell. Hahaha

Did I ever tell you about the time my husband hit a porcupine?

We were driving home after going to a friends house for dinner. We didn't have kids yet.

We were going down the country road, hardly any houses, most of the land was undeveloped. All of a sudden this animal is in the middle of the road. R swerved to miss it but ended up clipping it. I looked back and saw that it was alive, walking very slowly to the side of the road. I told R to stop. I thought it was a mangy cat.

So he backs up and by this time the "cat" is in the tall grass on the side of the road. I can see the grass moving, but I can't see the "cat". So I start to go after it, saying "here kitty kitty, come on kitty". My plan was to catch it, take it to the vet, make sure it's okay and then find the owners.

I never did catch up to it and hubby convinced me that if he could walk away, he'd be fine. So we go home.

When we get home I go inside and hubby decides to inspect his truck, make sure there's no damage.

He comes inside with something in his hand, says "it's a good thing you didn't catch that cat" and holds up the porcupine quills he found embedded in the front bumper. Yes, they pierced the bumper!

    Darn "cat". ;)

Poor porcupine, it needs those needles to protect itself and you stole them, in a hit and run no less :(

It wasn't me, it was the husband! He stayed in the car while I went after that poor mangy "cat".

It was only a few quills. They're really pointy!

Oh bear just to let you know, The quills do grow back. Quills can fall out when being touched or fall off when the porcupine shakes. They do grow back so no worries.
