Arm... only if it was the left one, otherwise a leg...

If I lost my right arm I would have no job.

That is a pretty short amount of time. I would LOVE to meet a girl I want to marry after only 7 weeks. Sadly, I don't see that happening anytime soon

I never talk in here, but I do read what's going on. Now I want to take a minute and make a little tangent since I simply need to vent, and ask for your peoples opinions on this matter... since I am at my wits end.

On July 27th I got cut to part time at my full time job. I lost all my insurance benefits and everything else. So I filed for unemployement and got denied for making too much money. I filed an appeal and now I have a court date in two weeks. Well anyway, I then tried to get my own insurance just so I was covered, but I got denied for making too little money.
Also, my husband owns his own buisiness and has steady income only for 6 months out of the year... he is a wedding videographer so his summers are booked! He was going to put me on his insurance... until I found out that I was pregnant and his insurance declined me since I was "not pregnant for 365 days".
I am upset because I got pregnant a week after I lost my benefits.. so I was frustrated. I decided to apply for All Kids (State Aid) since I had no other options... well yesterday I just found out I was declined for making too much money.
By this point, I am at my wits end. According to State Aid, a family can't be denied if the total income in the house is less than a certain amount, and we fall below it. I am now in the process of talking to case workers so they can re-evaluate my situation. So should I do now? I am going crazy!!

She's as happy as a pig in poop!

Has not even met his family, knows nothing about him! She's completely lost the plot...

How in ever, she's a big girl now,and knows her own mind,I shall toast the happy couple and provide a shoulder if/when it all goes ar%e over elbow.

LOL... once you meet the right person, you just know! But seriously... seven weeks is way too soon to ask for a hand in marriage. You will know that person is the one, but dang... at least give it a year!

Are you positive the weather is to blame for the bad hair day and not some premonition that she was going to call?

I hope they are planning a very long engagement.

My hair is the bane of my life!

No short engagement, they are going to register as soon as possible,3 to 6 months tops for the wedding... I kid you not!

Wow Karimelia I am sorry to hear about your situation :(
Only bit of advice I can give you is to try not the stress out about it, it's not only bad for you but bad for the baby...
If you feel like everything is getting too much just go and run yourself a nice hot bath, or go for a walk... scream into a pillow if it helps, just don't let your frustrations build up.

Red - A work "friend" of my partners kind of did that...

She has been with her fiancé for 12 months now, they got engaged at the end of last year, only a few months into the relationship...

They are getting married in a few weeks I think, she is 19, he is 21.

Shazzy, My fingers have just gone stupid and there isn't any explanation before now really. Maybe once. I don't mind repeating myslef so you can just ask instead of doing some searching.

    Hey Unky!!

    How are you today?
  • Oct 7, 2009, 08:35 AM
    adam_89

Hey Shaz, It isn't anything medical. My mind just can't get my fingers to slow down or just type at how I want to. I keep messing up. For example, I tried hitting the "e" and hit the "w" then I just keep misspelling words by hittingthe wrong key. Very annoying.

Ahhh that's all right then Adam, at least that's not scary... just annoying... (for you that is)
My most common typo is writing just instead of just... even when I think about it as I'm typing I STILL stuff it up

    adam_89

Shaz, I do the same thing all the time with that word or spelling something like "somethign" instead of "something"

    Argh!
  • Oct 7, 2009, 08:43 AM
    Stringer

Shaz, mine is that I always type 'the' as the and have to go 'fix it.'

Hi, Unky. I hope it has been a good day so far.

Adam, if you knew what my posts looked like before I checked them for errors, you wouldn't feel so bad.

I seem to be incapable of typing 'the' and any word where 'h' comes before 'a' on the first try. :)

I'm glad I am not the only one!!

I have a bad habit of hitting the "submit" button before checking though :o
And for some reason my Firefox spell check insn't working

Edit: see, even in my post talking about typos I made one
