We had ONE (1) day above freezing in the last two or three weeks and that was 36 degrees!

Today; 9 tomorrow; 5 and MORE snow! With about 14 inches on the ground now... Maybe Obama... yeah he can fix anything right? I 'll call him... :rolleyes:

Yep... could have been called the Castaways though... they were you know. Funny, when in Hawaii we took two helicopter tours Maui and Oahu and on one of them (Maui) they showed us the island that it was filmed on... it was actually only about 100 feet off shore... ha ha

Do you want fries with your waaaaa burger? It's MINUS 15 Fahrenheit right now, and is only suppose to get colder! We've got about two feet of snow, and drifts of up to 5 feet or more. That is on top of ice. It's sucks to even try and dig your vehicle out... that's if you don't break the snow brush, and slip and smack your face and break your back while trying to do it! LOL! I'm starting to WISH we had Polar Bears! They could take me to the store AND keep me warm.---although, they might eat me! :eek: :p

That must have been a special episode they were doing, because they filmed the show on a Hollywood lot! I watched the making of the show. God, I must have been REALLY bored that day! :rolleyes:

Starbs, I think the special show, the two hour episode after the show ended was actually done in Hawaii. :)

Briefy, one of my best friends and football watching bud was taken to the hospital and is in intensive care... he's not doing well at all. We spent 2 hours with his wife today, she is traumatized and in shock and disbelief. He probably will not pull through. I did a lot of should searching today... sometimes just for a while, you don't like yourself very much and it makes you think of mortality.

And to cap all that off... lost some more business this morning...

As for not liking yourself, honey, we all have moments that we wish we could take back, we've all done things we're not proud of, but hey, we're human, it's part of the package.

You're a wonderful man, I know that, I'm sure everyone who knows you knows that. Don't over analyze things, doing that never gets you very far.

He's your friend, and losing a friend hurts, just be there for him, for his wife and let us be there for you. Got it? That's what we're here for. Don't be afraid to tell us when things go wrong, when you're feeling down. I can be a stinker, but you know that I'm always here when you need a shoulder. I hope you know that. You do know that, right? ;)

As for the business, it's a crappy time right now, but I know you'll survive, you always do.

I wish your friend and wife the best. And Stringer, these things happen, and they are meant to make sure we remember we are still human. I look at my grandma and think the same things, I look at everyone I know and always think... what if that were me, was I good enough while I was here...

Stringer, you have had many phases in your life... the one you are in right this moment is surely your best, and yes you are a grand human being. I do so think so, and many many others do. So you just remember when you think am I good? YUP, start says so;)

Thanks, I am just thinking about Marta... I have so many damn things wrong with me... I had to go get that EGK and the stress test and when the doctor came back in and told us that I had heart abnormalities she was so scared and she cried all the way home... it is my fault, I need to start reducing the stress somehow.

The fire truck, ambulance and police came last night. He had actually died on his couch, he too had some sharp pains last week when he was here for the last game... They brought him back with infibulators (sp), he is in a very good hospital, they are ranked 9th in the country for heart problems. He and I are a lot alike in many ways, even though he is a liberal (ha). Love the same football teams, he is inquisitive and smart. Easy to like and talk to.

I hope he makes it...
