I really thought we were having twins today. Myth called me and she was quite uncomfortable, she had me concerned.

Well, I guess we will have to wait at least another week.

Oh, how I love 5 year olds. Johnny is 4 and starting elementary school. He has a blanket he carries with him all the time and sucks his left index finger.

Oh, yeah, he has named his blanket DDBB, Don't ask me, I don't know, LOL.

I said to him the other day

"Johnny, what are you going to do if you can't take DDBB with you to big boy school?"

His reply... Now picture this, the rolling of the eyes, and then

"Duh, Mommy, then I just won't go to sleep!!!!!!"

OMG I had to die laughing.

Yes, Mom, we are. I got a call from her yesterday around 3 p.m. She was in quite a bit of distress so I told her to go to the hospital. She did and they sent her home about 4 hours later.

She was in labor, I believe, but it was not active labor. So, it is all a waiting game now.

False labor is nothing more than the muscles around your abdomen contracting as in labor, however, it does not result in birth. It is more like you are getting ready for the real thing to happen.

But I am not so sure this is false, just early labor. Can last for a week or so, especially with twins.

Wait, this is too early in the morning for this... I need coffee... I need bath... runs off laughing!

Myth, good luck. I am new to this forum, but I have twins girls. They are grown now, but I loved every minute of it. One was 6lbs and the other 5lbs 5oz at birth. Get your rest now, as you will really need it.
I think I will have some coffee, just black, thank you.

I did love shopping with them, and my older daughter. We would go to a different city and laugh as we tried on different outfits, some quite bazaar, and have lunch and enjoy the day.

I know what you mean, shopping with my children was delightful. We would have such fun and end it with late lunch and laughter.:)

We have the same thing in Texas, shop till you drop and get up and shop some more, who could resist no taxes AND reduced prices. Excuse me while I BLOW my budget!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhh! I ain't in Tenn.

Well, I was a good girl. I stuck to the budget and the school supply list. My kids get new clothes constantly so they really did not need anything new.

But what blew the budget is that Johnny starts big boy school on Monday and we have never had to but supplies for him before.

He was so excited to get his first packpack (backpack) and munchbox. It was WAY too cute!!

Oh, yeah, the packpack and munchbox are Spiderman! What parent could resist.
