Right now, she's playing the guitar and singing... and it's good but there are some wrong tones here and there which makes the song funny :p

Little sister has got holidays... lucky her. She's laying in bed right now.

    Thanks JLo!

Unky she is playing the guitar and singing? To cute. I like to try and play the drums. But its quite dreadful as you can imagine. In my head its all good.

JLo I start when I want to start. Basically the conversation went with him describing what he expected of me. Then he asked what I expected for pay. I said it and he went for it with no issue at all. Then he said he respected I worked for a local business man and if I wanted to give notice that was fine. He said if I wanted to stay here part time until my spot here was filled I could work there part time. But its full time when I am ready. Its almost to perfect. On top of the financial statements and things along that line I will also do payroll. I am hoping to start Monday on a part time basis but I have to talk to my boss here first.

Well, from the sounds of things, you don't owe your boss a lot. I understand not wanting to leave him in the lurch, but don't bend over backwards trying to help him either. The new job sounds great, just what you were looking for, and for a decent boss.

Its everything I was looking for. It fell right in to my lap. I didn't even go looking for it.
New job, new house and repaired marriage. Life is good. Finally. Work hard and results happen.

I hear you. I'm so glad everything is getting better for you. Now it's time to enjoy all of your hard work, and you'll just appreciate everything so much more.

    I agree.
Now about this honeymoon? How was it? I am sure it was beautiful. Three weeks? Lucky girl.

It was great. :D We both love to travel. We decided to do the small, intimate wedding... and splurged on our honeymoon. We went on a one week Mediterranean cruise and spent 10 days in Italy. I don't look it but I'm part Italian, and so is John. My grandmother on my dad's side was born there and lived there until she was 6. She was a big influence on me until she passed away when I was 16. I love Italy.

Then what? Are you in school now? Are you applying for universities, or do you have to wait for your scores first?

Okay, I'm off to bed now. Must be fresh for tomorrow. See you later peeps! :)

Yes, I'll be applying to universities. Though it's still a dilemma as to what I'll do later on...

Do you mean as a major or for work? If it's anything like it is here, you don't have to decide either right away. I actually started as an Engineering major, but switched majors after the first year. I still graduated in 4 years with a double major and a minor.

    Good night unky.

Italy? I would love to see Italy. I would love to see a fashion show in Milan. I would love to see so many things. That's great. Isn't being a bride the best thing? I was the happiest bride ever on my day. It felt perfect.

I loved the whole experience - from planning the wedding, to the wedding day, to the honeymoon, and now being a wife. I just feel so fortunate to have found the right man at the right time. I'm getting all mushy, now. :o

So for our one month celebration tonight, I decided to make crab for dinner. He's going to pick up a nice bottle of wine. I'm still thinking on what type of sinful dessert to serve.

I felt the same way. I was never stressed and if I was I loved it. I wish I would have made it bigger. I did it all mostly myself and was in heaven the entire time.

    Sinful dessert? (blushing)

    Welcome Sunny...

JLO, I wish for you the same happiness that Marta and I have. It is simply wonderful and I still feel like I did when I first looked into those large, deep, dark, mysterious and beautiful eyes of hers. Work to stay happy...

I agree Stringer. Work to stay happy. Life isn't perfect every day and that's the way it is. Give and take. But with work every effort in the end is worth it.

Thanks. I always admire the way both you and Cats talk about your wives. I hope we'll always feel that way, as well. It's hard to imagine we won't. We are so much alike it our upbringings, goals, beliefs, and even in just the day to day stuff and the fun stuff.

It is a fallacy to say that opposites attract JLO... think about it for a moment. The more that you have in common the more you love AND LIKE each other, there is a difference.

I know parts of Italy as well as I do my home town. Years of living and working there and years of visiting. I've made that round trip flight about 25 times (forget exact number) lived there for 6 years and spend a lot of time there almost every year.

Know it well enough I know the seedy underbelly most tourists never know or see. Have friends I still converse with I've known for 25 years there. Have in-laws there and even keep a vehicle registered there in my name for the last 20 years

Got to agree with that... I have thoughts of actually strangling my opposites... not getting intimate with them.

Well, I guess some of us had to learn the hard way, but I finally got it right. :)

You do know Italy. I've been twice now. I went there for 3 weeks when I graduated with my Bachelor's and now this 10 day trip. I've been through most of Italy except the southern part (went maybe 20 miles down the Amalfi coast and besides that Sorrento was as far south as I got). I also haven't been to Sicily, but I think I'd like to go there someday.

Hey girl. Lucky. I can't wait for the first. It has snowed here but its just been little dustings. I would love a huge snow storm. Crazy I know.

We've had a few spronkles of snow. But we have had over 250mm of rain in the past 6 days. Lots of wind, hail, sleet. I love living in the Maritimes :D But I guess it is hurricane season here in Nova Scotia.

I like snow right up until January, then I am done. Too darn cold!

We have water shortage here :(

Did I mention that I had to have cold showers for nearly a week now?

I don't know what happened exactly, but hot water was no more flowing down the pipes from the solar heater. Fortunately, yesterday, hot water ran once again through the pipes.

Whether the pipe was blocked or there was not enough water pressure to push the water up the tank and down to the bathroom, I don't know...

Anyway, today's exam went on way better than Monday's. I'm relieved. :)

What did he expect? He couldn't even pay you regularly, and he was putting you in the uncomfortable position of lying for him. Well, hopefully the talk is over now so you can just relax a little and think about your nice new job.

Yeah I know, two years ago the high was around +14. The next two days are to be in the mid 60's with some light rain.
