This morning I let ciara walk to school on her own for the first time.

After much practice crossing the road all summer,debate and discussion, and several spies keeping an eye out for her,I gently cut one of the smaller apron strings.

With the other two heading off to college I have a hatchet at the last of the apron strings!

Small steps red... well done... :)

I'm sure Ciara enjoyed this next step towards independence.

Trust me, you will never be completely detached... there will always be that one, small, special thread that holds you to them no matter how old they get!

Like it or not, they will never be completely out of your grasp!

When I opened AMHD this morning, I was on the new skin for about 10 minutes. I then got an error 404 and it kicked me back to this one. I thought they had made the switch. :o

I almost did when I tried to open a PM. The first few times I got near it, the screen would go blank. I eventually got to it, but I don't know what I was doing wrong. :confused:

It is slow, I don't like the layout one bit. I was one of the test subjects, and I think I lasted 3 days before I gave in and went back to the old v2

It must be up and running,I got a purple square in the rep system.

As far as I know the v2 will still be available when ff is in full swing.

When I first came back in July, I was using it for a couple of weeks. The biggest problem I had was it was slow. I was glad when they switched back to this one.

Okay, I have to stop thinking that avatars tell me something about the poster. Whenever I see an avatar with a person in it, I assume it's the poster, a general likeness of the poster, etc. Just read that FoxCash is a woman. That was a surprise. For the longest time, I thought KC was a weightlifter. I feel like I know exactly what Smoothy looks like, and of course we all know Stringer looks just like a famous movie star. :o
