My experience with that is this:

With the long line we endured at the bank alone, one would suspect one of two things.
First, all of the consumers are doing as programmed, shopping their little butts off to save corprate America the embarrassment of a down year or, people are making a run on the banks because they know they may be closed tomorrow.
In any event, I realized I am not a young man any longer and I cannot stand the beating of holiday shopping as I once did, so I opted to be dropped off back at the family compound where I can entertain myself with low impact sports, ie: Ham and Swiss on rye, Cranberry juice, soothing music and my dead butterfly collection.

Low impact surfing is my only option. I have really nice scars from the 12-14 foot waves I surfed at 18. At 51 the bath tub waves can gets too radical let alone getting in and out with bad knees!

Compensation: Sex slaves smuggled into Britain are to receive millions of pounds for their 'pain and trauma'

Sex slaves smuggled illegally into Britain are to share millions of pounds in compensation for their 'pain and trauma', it has emerged.

The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority - slated for long delays in making payments to the victims of violent crime - agreed to hand over £140,000 to the first four cases last week.

The women had suffered a 'sustained period of sexual abuse' after being trafficked into the UK.

Another 10,000 are estimated to be eligible under a new interpretation of guidelines drawn up by CICA, a Government agency.

I wonder if I could sue. I was a sex slave for many, many years. Getting a settlement would just make all that much nicer!

I know. I've been watching it happen for years. We really are screwed.

"where a culture of innovation is also part of the appeal."

With the rate of inflation, they are actually paying you $50.00 to $75.00 a week to work in their sweat shops, depending on the manipulation of the federal reserve. So what really is the difference between here and say, Mexico? They have globalized us. We truly are now all created equal! The "trickle down" effect is working nicely!

Giant rat discovered in Indonesia jungle
Giant rat discovered in Indonesia jungle - Science - MSNBC.com

OK, so, the next logical step would be to bring a few hundred of the giant rats to New York City for further study and place them in the zoo so the people can see them and then, they will escape. After a few weeks of breeding with the New York Rats, we will have a super rat strain. You won't be able to let your children out in the yard. The Super Rats will carry them off. The Super Rats only natural enemy in the U.S. will be the killer bees but, one only comes out at night and the other only comes out in day light. So, I see the world, among other things, being over run with Super Rats.

My Father in law worked for Peak in Alaska. But that is on the other side of things. My dad and my brothers work in the oil there on the pipeline. Crazy as it may seem, we are definitely going under! As far as we Americans think we have come, we are going backwards fast!

Prudhoe Bay has plenty of oil left. We can't use it though. If we stopped buying our quota from the Saudias, they would stop buying our debt. TBills. Issued by our gov in return for what they borrow from the federal reserve.

The controlled refinery capacity keeps the crude from becoming gasoline which causes a shortage and higher prices. It is tightly controlled by people like the Bushes and others. They may be losing some of that control and that is causing a lot of strife around the world. Other countries are trying to wrestle the control from them and sell their own oil on their own exchanges. There are only two exchanges. Here and England but the U.S. elite run them both. They have put the dollar at the mercy of world oil production. We are paying for it now. I think Israel bombed a new refinery in Syria and told every one it was a Nuclear plant.

http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_11_6.gif Just the way I see it too. I paid tobacco taxes, german health insurance -and much more, so the way I see it - I paid my dues.. I also swore to myself a long time ago that I did not want to end up looking like a refugee from Dachau concentration camp in a hospital bed waiting for visitors with tubes in every orifice. That, to me, would be the worst nightmare ever. I plan on enjoying a good cigar, Swicher Sweets or even a joint in a bathtub (I have a bubble mat that heats the water - like a whirlpool) with an expensive bottle of champagne, my hair styled and make-up - so literally going out in Style! But until that time comes, I'm raising as much heck as possible, teaching Alexander how to pitch hissy-fits, hugging my daughter all the time, and chatting with my cyber-family. What more can a gal want in the last season of her life.

Speaking of seasons... Wishing you all a very happy holiday season with lots of love, warmth, and some of my cyber-hugs.

Chery, you are an extra ordinary woman. You make me laugh, cry, smile, smirk, and say GRRRR... all in the same damn paragraph! It has been a bit since I have said much around here, but Chery if I were to say anything at all, I would say I love you! I get so excited to read what you write. To take it in, like a novel almost... because you are doing what most wouldn't... you are living, I mean REALLY living. You are an admirable woman, I thank you for all of the lessons you have give me, for the love you show here, for the wonderful advice you give and for living your life RIGHT now to the best of your ability. To the fullest when you can... Raise some Heck, do what you want! I love you.

    Mag... enjoy...
The website looks so appealing huh?
