Province of Prince Edward Island. Canada. It is a beautiful place. It is like heaven on earth. Amazing. Have lots of pictures. July and August are an amazing time to be there, because of shooting stars. Lay outside at night time and watch the meteor showers. It is so clean and clear and it is like seeing trillions of stars light up the whole sky. Do not see that in the cities with all the artificial lights and pollution.

Hello to everyone here, hope you all have had a great day. I will try to come back and post later.

Hi you silly man. I wish I were under those stars. In California (we drove through from Canada) we saw some of the brightest stars I have ever seen, by the red woods it was wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to see them again, if ever. Going well here. Just need to hop in the shower at some point today. Lazy Start, get your stuff together...

  • Jul 25, 2007, 03:56 PM
    NowWhat
I have a small tattoo and I think I may get another some day. But, I want it to symbolize my daughter. I have the elements of what I want, but I can't get it to come together.
Plus, I hate pain, so I've been putting it off.
  • Jul 25, 2007, 03:57 PM
    startover22
The pain was kind of the exciting part for me. Weird but I liked it. I want to put all the kids name around mine and my husband. (I don't see any of my family not being there)LOLOLOLOL
  • Jul 25, 2007, 04:01 PM
    NowWhat
I will never put my husband's name on my body. I think it is the kiss of death for a relationship. Don't ask me why, but it just seems like once you get inked - the relationship is over. So, why tempt it...
I would love to have my daughter's face with little angel wings, but if they don't do it right, then it will be weird. I thought about her initials with angel wings, but I just can't get the design down.

Nowwhat, I hear you there. My biological father has a tattoo on his arm that says my moms name and him forever well. That lasted until I was three years old. Go figure. I guess, the worst thing was for his second wife had to wake up everyday to another women's name on his arm.
  • Jul 25, 2007, 04:15 PM
    NowWhat
My girlfriend had a shamrock with her husbands initial in the middle (he's Irish - she is not) well they are divorced and she is remarried - now she has some huge thing covering it up - what a pain though.
The only name I would even consider having on me is my daughter's. I think that relationship is pretty solid.
  • Jul 25, 2007, 04:18 PM
    JoeCanada76
Oh, yes. Children's names and dates of births. I think it is a good thing. I feel the same way as you nowwhat about partners names.

If I were to get one I thought of my boys name and date of birth. One other one is a cross but never got anything done.
  • Jul 25, 2007, 04:24 PM
    NowWhat
The one I have - I got 14 years ago and it is SO not me. Not the me today. I don't think it was me back then, but I thought it would be cool to get a tattoo and this is what I got.
For my daughter, I want something that is sweet - nothing to bold, but to reflect who she is right now. And that is sweet and innocent. Not something you think of when you think tatoos!

I will just stick with what I have and leave it at that...
When I think of tattoos I think of personality so it really does fit, NowWhat...

    Hello everyone,

My sister and I were thinking to get a tattoo when we were teenagers but never happened. She got a belly ring instead I thought it it was cool. My sis got in trouble by my mom HEE HEE. Well when I saw the show Miami ink It got me thinking again. I was thinking to put baby Joshuas face on my back of my shoulders. I started thinking if I had another child I have to put the second child on. So instaed I will put the name's around the flower or a heart whenever or if I get it.

Hello everyone, Jesushelper you are right I am not suer if I am going to go through with it. I say to myself, am I going to like seeing the tattoo every day on me, even if it is on my back or would I regret it having it on my back all of my life. I am thinking if I have my son on my back it might be a different story.:)

Hello Cal, if you want to have a tattoo when you get older becareful what you chues. Chues it wisely like Sera says and make suer if you want to have the tattoo for the rest of your life. It is to exspensive to take it out and you don't what to regret it.

    Proud. :)

I don't have any tatoos, I am too chicken for that. I like the way they look on other people but I just can't decide on something for me to look at every day for the rest of my life.
Henna tatoos are cool. My sister got married on the beach and we had them done on the top of our feet, it was fun and it looked pretty. I think it lasted a couple weeks and that was long enough for me!1

Happy Thursday to all of you!!
  • Jul 26, 2007, 08:58 AM
    NowWhat
I like Henna tatoos. I have never had it done though.
As far as getting another one, I want my tatoos where no one can see them unless I choose to let them see it. Even though they are more accepted than ever - I think people make snap judgements about people that are all inked up.
Of course, I want the next one at the small of my back - it is called a "tramp stamp". I don't like that. Why does it have to have such an ugly name? Especially when I am going to be putting something on symbolizing my kid!

When I was pregnant - my tattoo stretched A lot. I just knew that it would never be the same. And then I had a c-section and it could have been the end of the thing then too! But, my dr. managed to save it. Now, it looks the way it did when I got it.

The lower back is the only place I think I would like but I don't like that its called a tramp stamp. Where the heck did that come from? In the movie, Along came Polly is the first time I heard that. My cousin had a tattoo on her stomach of a cross and something else and it didn't stretch too bad, even after the third baby.
Nowwhat, it sounds like your doctor knew what he was doing! I know what you mean about people making judgments when they see a tattoo. Although, it isn't as bad now as it used to be because so many people have them now. You should maybe try a henna tattoo of the portrait you would like and see how it looks before getting one permanently. My husband wants to get one in memory of his father but he isn't sure what to get.

    Goodafternoon everybody,

Hope all is well with everybody. Just got back and I am soon going to get cleaned up and have lots of baby time.

Shattered I think that is very nice that your husband wants to get one in memory of his father there are so many different choices to chose from.

Ok your popping on and off again!! TSK TSK!! LOL
Hello!! MR Bojangle is what I am going to call you! I am not sure why. Baby time? I am jealous. GIVe him big kisses on the cheek for me. How are you and proud this morning? Yes, it is very cool and I guess there are so many choices and ideas that he gets overwhelmed and can't make up his mind. His dad was one amazing guy. LIke a father to me too. Truly a good guy. I was going to ask about that picture you had too, but someone else beat me to it. Absolutely breathtaking. Now you changed it again. This one is nice too, but I see boats all the time in Florida. I want to be where it is dark and no city lights or pollution. Shooting stars are the coolest. I haven't seen one in a while. The last one my husband saw was the night his dad died. He was standing out in the backyard and he was thinking of him, wondering if he would get some sort of sign from his dad and then he sees a shooting star. Pop was trying to say, I am still here and I am watching. Just like start says, and it is a great saying. LOVE is all around us, whether they are in this life or onto the next one. Don't you agree??
  • Jul 26, 2007, 10:21 AM
    JoeCanada76
    Oh now, come on. Lol

Shattered, proud and myself are doing good. I will change the picture to another seen. Oh the other picture. Proud and I were actually on that cliff and have pictures. Pretty cool, breath taking for sure.

That is an amazing sign. For your husband. Defiantly a sign of his father. Now every time he sees one it is his father saying hello.

Love is all around us. Whether they are in this life or the next one. There are so many souls that we meet and more that we will be reconnected with one day. It is an amazing family.

You know, I am not getting much done today. It can't decide if wants to rain outside or be sunny. I have gotten a load of laundry done and figured out what I am making for dinner - so that's something, right?

My daughter still needs to get in the tub - but she is painting and doesn't want to stop. Oh, well, we don't have anywhere we need to be. She is actually still in her pj's. Again, she is busy doing her thing and can't be bothered with things like baths or getting dressed! We are so lazy today!
