I agree with that. I wish today would go fast. I have a 3 day weekend. Only because I decided to just take time off and let the boss deal with it. I never get time off ever. I hate it. Tomorrow I am taking off to spend the day with my friend who just lost her son. Saturday I am doing nothing but lounging around the pool with my son. Sunday I am going to another friends for a firework show he puts on. Fun filled lazy weekend.

Oh, I forgot about that. My sincere condolences to your friend. I read your posts... so many fatal accidents on the roads :(

I feel so terrible for her. That next morning she had to attend her other sons graduation. Poor girl. He will be leaving in August he joined the Marines. Not so sure what will happen with that. I would be so over protective of him now. He is her only child now.

I'm talking the kidlets to the fireworks tonight.

This year we're leaving Chewy at home. Last year, when the fireworks started, Chewy tried to dig a hole to climb in, all he wanted to do was hide. The poor little guy was shaking like a leaf. I ended up running back to the car with him, missed the fireworks.

Dogs and loud scary noises don't mix.

Oh yeah happy canada day, anybody have any parties to go to?

Our friend is coming for the weekend, and it's R's birthday on Saturday, so we're having a few people over. Not a lot, the actual party isn't for a few weeks. We don't have time to do a big party right now, and because it's the long weekend, many of our friends are camping, so we put the big party off.

He's 40 on Saturday. :eek:
