Does anyone here know where I can buy rare-earth, preferably neodymium, magnets? I'm thinking Radio Shack and Lowe's, but after that I'm out of ideas. I'd like to get them today. Discuss.

I'm going to put 'em on the underside of my bike so I don't have sit at a traffic light for an eternity.

I have no idea what they are, and how they work. Sorry.

If anyone wants to help me indent my analytical bibliography, I just started a thread. I'm confused. It's in MLA, I'll post a link.

Slapshot: Have you tried calling a local hobby shop. They might have something like that.

It ain't wicked important, I just want something to do when I get out of work.

And no Emland, didn't call a hobby shop but that is a good idea and good excuse to go on a ride.

I have a Specialized Allez, all carbon fiber, I've heard of the magnets idea, I'll have to research that.

I've never heard of using magnets to trigger traffic lights. Let me know how that research goes. Does it only work on the ones with pressure pads?
