Oh, I thought it was just a butt excersise! I held up my left hand, kept my right on the keyboard, and kept on going from left butt cheek to right! It was a bit of a balancing act! I don't know how I'm going to get to the store doing that?? :rolleyes: People are going to make fun of me Sneezer! :(

I just turned in my applications to med schools... cost me about $1000. Could have bought a really nice TV with that.

I also turned in the lease application for the new restaurant. The financial officer at the bank who approved the loan jokingly said, "You do realize that if this goes belly up, you'll be bankrupt for the next 5 years? just kidding."

Starby, if it's possible I actually feel worse today then I did yesterday. I hope this is just because the meds haven't kicked in yet. I can hardly hear, my head feels like it's in a vice, I can't stop coughing, therefore I can't stop vomitting. My nose is all clogged up and every time I blow it I can hear the fluid in my ears and also I start coughing. My stomach is sore, I feel like I've been doing sit ups all week 24 hours a day. I have a fever, and I'm dizzy. So, anything else anyone want to throw at me, it will be the last straw on this camels back.

I spent half the day writing to that girl that is getting a divorce from her abusive husband. Didn't put me in a great mood trying to give her advice. Blaahhh!

Are you okay Alty? I think you should go lay down. There is probably so much pressure in your head, that it's starting to effect your vision, and will likely make you really dizzy too. You don't need to fall and hurt yourself, on top of everything else!

Alty, as you know I am not a physician. But I get sinus infections a lot and they are terrible hon. All the symptoms you are saying that you have are the same I get when I have this. I sometimes get it by itself but mostly after I have the flu or a bad cold. And it feels just like a VERY bad flu, very bad indeed. The fact that your doctor gave you antibiotics says that you probably have the sinus infection or something very much like it. Because most doctors will not give you antibiotics for a cold or the flu as they will not help either, only for an infection. When I get it, everything stops dead (no pun intended), and it takes about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks to get better.

Sneey, am I correct about this?

I really hope that you start feeling better soon dear, :( the antibiotics should work in a few days. But like Starby said, finish the whole bottle.:)

... but I've met a lot of docs who drop vancomycin at the sign of a cold.. . not sure where the heck they got their MDs... but... yeah.

Alty's antibiotics should start taking effect relatively soon... just plenty of rest/fluids left.

Can I take the whole bottle at once? ;) KIDDING!

Thanks Stringer, I hope I'm feeling better soon, it's been 2 weeks and I'm fed up. I can't sleep because I can't breath and I can't stop coughing. Hopefully it won't take long for the meds to do their thing.

What would I do without you guys? Even when I'm sick you put a smile on my face, and you cheer me up, and you hold my hand. Thanks you guys. :):)

My old doctor would give meds without even running any tests. This doctor (I've been with him for 10 years) does not prescribe meds often, in fact, this is the first time that he's prescribed me antibiotics. He's a wonderful doctor, but is nearing retirement (actually he put off retiring 5 years ago because of his patients). I don't know what I'll do when he retires, he's one of a kind. I absolutely adore him.

Sneezy, finish med school and move to Canada, you can stay with me, I'll feed you, wash your clothes and lend you my car. What do you think?

I am sooo glad those days are over; college studies... it was a giant pain in the *ss, really inconvenienced me, you know?:D Now I read things mostly because I am interested. And a lot of trade magazines...
