Once again my words come back to haunt me. OK we share. But its 60/40. Me being 40 since I am older and tire more easily. Oh oh oh does this make me a cougar? I sure can't be a sugar mama.

Unky I read your post and didn't forget you. Wow, some stresses your under. You hon are the most amazing person for your age. If you were here you would blow these teenagers away with your knowledge and drive. The motivation you have to succeed is more then I see in most adults here. Its tough to decide what you want to do. But remember you are young. If you make the wrong choice you have the rest of your life to change it.

Wow, giving 60% of me away huh? Ouch. Haha

You should not be offended by this but yes, technically you are a cougar. You should be proud!

I am proud. Very proud. I didn't even need schooling for it. Won't get me far in life but it sure will be fun.

Thanks Sunny. :) Universities in Aussie are hopeless I think... they don't offer any financial aid like loans to international students following the recession, they no more give full scholarships, partial scholarships are given only to the students ranked in the first 32 of the country (I didn't have the chance to get up there... ) and even if I got the scholarships, the cost of food and accommodation would be too costly...

I went to another educational fare today with some friends organised by the school and asked for some information. Well, for one, I now know that economics and accounts are not really required to do well in actuarial science. So far one has a good math, one would do fine.

*Still looking for unis offering actuarial sciences courses*

    Hi Unky,

This site lists schools at the bottom of the page:

    Study Actuarial Science

Thanks JLo! After a little talk with mum, I think that I'll not be able to do Actuarial Sciences :(

Apparently, when a student goes to another country for tertiary studies, (s)he will have to return to their countries once the studies are over. Meaning I'll have to come back to Mauritius. Now, there are only two insurance companies here, and the demand in actuary is probably very low, and the fact that it'll take some time to move to another country, I would be jobless for some time and still need to pay for my past studies.

Okay, I'm not giving this up yet. I want to try getting contact with people to make sure they need an actuary or not. So much to do, so many uncertainty, so little time >.<

Well, besides that, I'm falling back on the others, Chiropractic Science and Civil Engineering.

We got a couple of feet of snow over the last 24 hours, with more to come in the next 24. Wonder how long that will take to get there. :p

Yeee haaww! I don't think we will make it to 70 I think they are actually calling for snow again in a day or so. But today was great. You all want to come over and eat off my floor? Toilet? I have cleaned repeatedly today. There is nothing left untouched.

Maybe if something fell on the floor I would eat it still but probably not the toilet. Thanks for the offer though.

We are calling for 30° weather next week though so it won't last long.

I hope you have a good evening and good weekend. I am out of here for the day and will be back Monday!

Have a great weekend Adam. I am off for now also. My son has group pictures tonight in his skating class. They are doing a show and the song is from Grease. He is so thrilled. He loves that movie like no other. He is Danny with all his Pink Ladies. To cute. Funny we had bought him a leather jacket like Danny's over the winter so he is wearing it as part of his costume. Now I have to work on the hair flip before we head out.

    Bye everyone!
