I'm covered in urticaria after a walk in the countryside, no idea what I came in contact with but I'm itchy too. Look and feel like I've been rolling in a nettle patch.

They are black fly bites, so yes scratching and rubbing is temporarily relief, but it doesn't last and I am STILL itchy. No amount of moisturizer will help this.
Q, what is urticaria?
Oo Thanks, I'll give that a try. Oh I think my nail polish remover has acetone in it. I'm giving it a try anyway.
Yup it sure did. But it's not itching, at the moment anyway...
Like a million. Lol. My camp in the middle of a forest. Black fly, mosquito, and horse fly Heaven. I have four on my face alone, I can't count the ones on the top of my head, but they are plenty.
Awwh Bell! And go see a GP. They can give you something to take care of all that crap. Not to mention, with all those bites you never know what those bugs are carrying. It can't hurt. That really sucks. Also, go out the store and BUY calamine lotion, and laoe, and vitamin E cream for your skin. It will help cool and soothe the bites.
I was going to take an anti histamine, but I don't know if that would help, because guess what? I am ITCHY!
I am heading to the drug store first thing in the A.M The worst thing about black fly's is they itch for days. Than they stop itching for a day or two, and than they itch again.
Ahhh! Well I feel your pain girl friend.
Funny you should say that, I actually pulled a tick off me this week end. First one I have seen since I have moved to Nova Scotia. I used to live in Manitoba, and you could get ticks walking in someone's grass if they hadn't mowed it in a few days.
I agree. Ticks Suck.
Yea, yea, I meant that, yea... lol.
Hey, this kid wants more imput.
