Hi Bella, I went to see the collie, which wasn't a collie, and wasn't big. I guess my idea of a collie and her idea are two different things. Anyway, he isn't up for adoption yet because they are getting rid of fleas and had to shave parts of him, he is four not two. He was crossed with something and something, its anybody's guess what those something's are.

So back to the drawing board, I guess you haven't found me a Borzoi yet, huh ?

Actually funny you say that! My friend called me last night and said she may have something avalible in your area. I am waiting for the link. Unfortuantly she can only tell me a few hours before he gets posted to the pet finder. She said she would send me his pic and the bio this afternoon.

Maybe he was a Shelty? (the other dog)

No, not a shelty, just a heinz57. Not that I have anything against mixed breeds, he is not up for adoption yet and even then, he is just a medium size dog.

I understand, when I was looking for another dog, the people at the shelter kept trying to pressure me into getting a lab mix, I wanted a bully breed, and I was waiting for the right one.

You know when you find the right one, just like people you just click. When I first met Lady, she was so skinny, timid, and shaking. She wouldn't make eye contact and she had her tail between her legs.

I took her for a walk and we stopped and we turned around to go back to the house where she was staying and she looked up at me and licked my hand.

We didn't really know if she had any experience with kids, but when I brought my daughter down to meet her, Lady came over and gave her a lick on the cheeck. I knew she was mine after that.

Yes, I know all too well the connection with a dog. I still miss Taffy, in fact I am sure I heard her bark inside the house when I drove up the other day. Her presence is around, I find that comforting. This time of year was always our new beginning for walks.
