Sunny, I hate to say this but I think its called 'new salesman's syndrome'. The salesman always sticks their friends and acquaintances first and gets them on board because they are the easiest marks. You say, well I know him, how bad can it be. I have heard that so many times before. Just be careful and don't put any money out 'as an initial investment'. I hope he hasn't asked you do that yet.

Thanks tick. I am always a little leary (sp?) of these things. I am not putting out a penny that's the only reason I even considered it. I never would spend a cent for anything like this. I know about far to many scammers out there. I questioned him how it was going to work and he seemed to have it all figured out. It doesn't sound to me like its going to work but I said since its just networking for him and what not I will try. I do have the time right now to take a minute so why not try. I am out nothing. Although when I mentioned his name to my husband he laughed. Not a good sign!! Oh I am sure I will keep you updated on this. It's a hunch it won't work the way he wants but maybe I am wrong.

Yea, I am done with this week. I really wish I could hibernate until the holidays or something else big like a vacation. I am tired of going on anymore, its just so boring and repetitive.

The trip was pretty nice, I didn't go there to fish though, just to vacation and see a little history. Went on a few ghost tours while I was there and that was pretty cool because Gettysburg is supposed to be one of the most haunted places or something like that. Went out during the day and lounged around the hotel in the room or in the hot tub or pool or something. I really miss vacation, all I can do is think about it and want to go back or somewhere else, haha.

Come to NY. You can sit on my back deck and hunt deer. I see them so often I am not even excited any more. Sat at my table and watched a little fox run across my lawn. To cute. Oh and of course I would behave.

I do want to go to NY someday, hopefully soon. I go on vacation once a year so hopefully some year soon. I can't wait to hunt this year, sounds like you have plenty so I might have to come take a few. You would behave? Really?

Of course I would behave. You're the one I would worry about. That's why you just bring your cute little girlie along. Then we would have to behave. Wait, are we flirting again? Your so bad. Bring it baby.

I'm planning on going to Brooklyn in December, got a few friends that live there now, and I've never been to NYC, too many Yankee fans.

You don't want me to bring it. Who says we would have to behave if she was around? Maybe she could join our fun?

Is this work you will be doing on your new venture ? I think you may need a

I had to look that up. You're a funny one today. No really that made me laugh.

My new venture is just barely in the works. I did one thing he asked me to get done and sent him an email on the other. Your talking my at home thing right? I don't see at all how this is going to work for either of us. But I am not investing a thing other then time so I don't mind at all. Sadly the time I am investing is while I am here at work. That's the only reason I am attempting it. Too much free time at work. So sad.

Yes, the 'roundtuit'. A friend of mine had one on his wall. It was a piece of wood, polished, and in the middle was printed 'roundtuit'. He was a great procrastinator with a big 'todo' jar from his wife.

Sometimes we forget tiny insignificant silly things that bring a chuckle. This was one of them, right ?

    Have a great day, sunny

Hey everyone. So, maybe someone here might know, I have a gym membership and when I joined they left the membership open so I could cancel it at any time. Well now I called to cancel it because I never use it and they are saying I have to pay a $75.00 cancellation fee if I want to cancel. That wasn't in the contract, do I have to pay that?

Hey Adam, did you read the very small print to be very sure? If it is not there then call them again and tell them that.

I would still read the 'cancellation' part very carefully first before you call them again. There may be something that you missed.

Adam, I had the same thing happen and I told them I was moving so I could waive that fee... LOL

I have to find the papers that I did sign for the membership. I wanted to check for sure before I called back. If not, I will just pay it and be done with it. I don't go to the gym anymore and I have some equipment at home as well. I don't want them to get angry because the owner is a pretty big guy. Haha

That is a good idea, haha. I would do that but I already told them I just don't use it enough to pay for it. Then they asked if I knew about the 24 hour access key, and I said yes, but there still isn't time. I thought about cancelling my bank account so they couldn't charge me anymore. Haha

You have to love a job when you get paid less then half your normal wage for the week. Bad enough its cash now because he owes back money for something and he took us off the books, this week I get less then half my pay. I get the rest Monday. We all only got half.

They haven't fill the accounting position yet I interviewed for, please people pray pray pray.

Keep thinking positive. Allow your Karma to catch up. Your going to get it. Its just a matter of when.

And yes prayers help too ;)

Thanks guys. I am not a happy camper. I am sure I have the other job it's a matter of when. It's a new position and they are waiting to get this other new girl comfortable before they bring me in. I am getting a bit cranky waiting.

    Sunny ,

At least you have something to wait for. Be thankful for that.
There are a few million people who would love to have even a glimmer of hope.
You have the link to the real thing! A job that doesn't involve saying " would you like fries with that?"

I understand how you must feel , I have little patience to wait for most anything. And I start at cranky and plummet fast.

    Hang in there.

I agree with 100%. I have no problem waiting for the other job. My problem is working for a living and not getting a living. Especially when I watched the business go down for no reasons other then his own stupidity. I am by no means complaining trust me. I am complaining that he has no respect for us employees because I know where he has spent cash all week and it wasn't back in the business. But all us workers only brought home half our pay or less. I am thankful to get that even since the doors didn't get locked.

Agh... who cares about that. How is everyone else?
