Thanks but if I did go to that walk in clinic thing I was talking about it will cost me $25 plus whatever the prescription is. Since I missed so much work last week my paycheck was so little and after all me bills this week I only have $30 to my name for the rest of the week so I really can't afford it.

Do the best you can,only thing is adam,you don't seem to be getting better... the sooner you can the better..

Get some vit C.. and some nuts and seeds that contain selelium (it helps the body heal lung infections).. im not saying that's what you have,just even a multi vit to help your body. Garlic!

Adam, are you sure you don't have strep throat? Usually with that you will have a high (102 plus) fever and a really sore throat, and it lasts this long if you don't get anti-biotics - plus you feel like crap.

News or scandals, did you have anything in mind because there's always lots of that going on, weather update, it was very sunny and warm today and you said you usually get our weather later on so enjoy :D

This is why I don't get why the USA has problems with switching to something like our NHS, I mean I can just walk in, ask for an appointment, go to it, walk out and not pay a thing, unless they've prescribed something to me in which case ill ponder getting it or finding a cheaper solution from boots (a drug store)

Where as you guys go in and pay through the nose for them to say yea you've got a sore throat, have some strepsils (throat tablets)

Ditto bear.. same here.. although we have a medical card system in place..

But if you don't have that.. and you end up in hospital your tests and drugs are paid for in the tax system and you pay for your bed..

Materity,pre natal and ante natel checkups are free,as are your birthing and drug costs.

Adam, you really need to go to the doctor after 15 days of not feeling well, and it doesn't sound like it's getting better. $30 is nothing if it will help you get better, and not miss any more work. Can you borrow a few dollars from family or friends? If there is an anti-biotic that will help, you'll be feeling better in 48 hours. I had strep last year and it's no fun. I have never felt worse, but after 2 days of pills I felt 80% better.

If you have strep, you really need to go to the doctor. It can turn into worse problems, like rheumatic fever. Plus, it's so easy to treat. You will feel better in no time at all.

Yes, I have Anthem Blue cross blue shield. One of the best you can get around here I think. It is offered through my company. My co-pay for the doctor is $25 though and my presciptions are usually $10 so that sucks.

Thanks a lot J-Lo. That does make me want to go but I just can't afford it and I can't swallow my pride to ask for money

If you have a credit card you could put the stuff on there and then pay it off as soon as your next paycheck hits. None of my business, just saying. Hope you feel better. I am sure you are getting tired of being nagged about it though.

Red, I can barely swallow. It takes a long time to do it and it hurts like hell. It barely happens. I hate sleeping like this. It is worse then.
