Get back in the kitchen and make me a pie!
LOL I can make you a plaster Pie but nothing else dear boy I don't have a ruddy kitchen so to speak of.
Don't you be making him nuthin' but a mud pie.
That boy is spoiled enough.
LOL how about a special millie pie ;)
Oh a special millie pie would be dandy for Nos.
I should probably ask what, exactly, that means...
So what, exactly, does that mean?
Hehehehehehe what kind of sauce shall I add??
Hahahaha, I love this!
Oh, the yellow kind!
Ah.
Um... no thanks.
Omg!!
Lol... I'm sure millie can whip up a wonderful pie for you... lol.
I'm thinking about putting butcher block counter tops in. Or at least something that I don't have to grab a cutting board every time I go to cook... lol. The only problem is budget...
Butchers blocks the real ones need a hell of a lot of work it's the only think I hated cleaning when I was chef there s to scrub you have to do it with salt and a wire brush.
The only advice I can really give you is stay away from granite its a lot of work and needs treating and polishing and cleaning with special cleaners.
Amen to that!! I have granite and it looks and sounds so nice until you get it... you can't use anything on it. I can hardly disinfect it. You can use it without a cutting board, but I'd rather just have the board... I feel like it is never clean..Quote:

Yes and butcher block tends to harvest germs
Even with a bleach bottle handy?Quote:

Yes Start you have to remember a real block is used to cut raw meat hense why they are scrubbed down with salt and a wire brush to get into all the scratches to bring out rotton stuff they really aren't that hygienic
You see, in addition to what CBW just said, it is wood and bacteria tends to get into the cracks and crevices and multiplies, so they are pretty, but not practical.
