I'm not exaxtly sure how to explain it, so I'll just post a description from a site

Extreme water sports, freestyle motocross, powerboat racing, children's activities, national-act concerts (including headliner Craig Morgan), and the dramatic Fourth of July fireworks show are only some of the reasons to attend the annual Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta. Attracting over 400,000 annually, the Pittsburgh Regatta is the region's largest community event and the largest inland regatta in the United States. In 2010, the 33rd annual 3 Rivers Regatta will fill Point State Park (as well as the North Shore). Best of all, it's free!

A little catty b!tchiness on the boards. About time you all started to catch up with me.

Been looking for a fight for weeks.

Sailed in a regatta once. Crazy stuff. Didn't skipper the boat. Helped run the jib and raise and lower the spinnaker... how that many boats can vie for a good starting position all at once is just controlled chaos.

    BWAHAHAHA!

    as in "evil laugh" laugh?

    =)

sorry... among other things, I'm a scientist by schooling. Chaos wins much of the time... not in the jurassic park jeff goldblum character sort of way exactly (or does it? )... but... ah crap... never mind.

free energy and spontaneity just don't lend well to smart arse jokes...

We've posted around each other a few times.

I'm allright. Better for your asking. I'm a little punchy, but that's normal-ish on my side. I'm a boy. Irish. Irritable and irritating.

How about yourself? Tell me something good about the week.

Glad to hear about the job... it sounds like a cliché, but it is really rough waters out there concerning work. I know good people who are struggling.

As for my attitude... no need for sorry. It happens now and then. Standard feature.

It wasn't rough for dad... He got many offers in the past year of being laid off from the township, we just found out (we being my mum and I). He just didn't feel like working. But then my mum gave him an ultimatum, get a job or get out.

But now he's got a job so he won't be following us constantly. I'm very excited

Well... just goes to show... assumptions are made by a$$es... my bad. Glad he bought half a clue eventually.

Hmm... you didn't ask me to name a good thing on my side. You should use leverage when you have it.

My good thing this week was, as usual, playing with my son. He got to have a sleepover last night, and he rocks the casbah. Six years old is all noise and dirt and silly laughing.

    Love it.

I don't typically pry with people.

I watch my six year old brother during the day, the kid's energy amazes me.

I'm often the quiet boy watching the noisemakers. I don't need to run the show. Be center stage.

Sorry if I scolded ja. Really, I didn't.

My theory is quiet people are just saving their breath for something worthwhile to say.

    Mkay...

    Blah. Blah. Blah.

Anything interesting planned for the weekend?

Ah... yep. The regatta. That's where I entered.

I get to knock down an inch of lathe and plaster in a bath.

If I get the deconstruct done fast enough, I get to build a tree house for my little one. I know, its unlikely ill have time... but that's my hope.

He is in st louis for the weekend with his mom. Going to go to the top of the arch, listen to some great concerts, and see fantastic fireworks.

    I'm about out of here.

Glad you volleyed with me. Have a great weekend.
