I saw you got lots a work done! I bet he is excited, this is a perfect age to be happy about the smallest stuff. Sheesh, I make a funny face at Alex (almost 3) and he could crack up for 10 minutes, telling me how it was so funny and I am so silly and and and... Colton is going to be a great three year old... that makes you a year older too, did you ever think about that?? LMAO LMAO LMAO

    Hi Rp, and Start.

Yes. American idol was an excellent finish. I was worried the night before because the judges were praising the other David. Even though the other david just ruined the Imagine song. Brutalized it and yet the judges were kissing his young butt up and down.

12 million votes more for Cook, it was an awesome finish.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLTON.

    I like both of them...
Joe... just cause you are a rocker, doesn't mean the sweet little guy couldn't have won;)

I like both too, I just thought Cook should win because he can go with any type of music ad make it his own... Archiletta can only do ballads well.

The whole show was great though. I think this was the best season

EDIT:: Can you tell that I am ignoring that old lady's comment about age?? Lmao

RP, that's what leather tethers are for (kidding, really, kidding) :)

I have the same problem with my kids, especially now that the sun is out much longer. "Mommy, it's still light out, why do we have to go to bed?" (as they're rubbing their eyes). For goodness sake, it's 10pm, 7am comes early, go to SLEEP! :)

There is one advantage to the exterior window shades the germans have. You roll them down and the room is dark. I was actually thinking of importing them and starting my own company when I lived in Georgia because those summer nights crept into the windows and there was no way to stop it. They also have an advantage of preventing break-ins so I don't know why they have not become a security standard yet. Maybe attaching permanent storm-doors to the kid's window outside might wind up being a solution.

It's great for me too, especially when I want to take a nap at noon - keeps the noise outside too.

    Night,night.

Morning all. Bah, I had another lousy nights sleep, this time it was because of my 13 year old dog, Indy. Indy has his days and night mixed up (just like a newborn baby) and decided that he needed to go outside at 2am, then eat, then get a rub down, then play. I am so tired right now, I need sleep! Sydney is home again, she still has a fever, and I'm not getting better either, no wonder, I can't sleep so this cold can sure hang on to my poor tired body. I'm going to go get some cheese to go with my wine. ;)

Hope everyone else is doing great. Chery, I love the blinds that the Germans have, you're right, they're great, but also expensive. One thing I miss when in Germany, the screen windows, open the windows in Germany and you let every little bug in to the house. I remember my Grandma's place, there were so many black flies. I was 14, slept like a baby, woke up and couldn't open my eyes, they were swollen shut from all the black fly bites. I miss Germany, especially the "slept like a baby" part. ;)

Yes, Rick was kind enough to look into it for me. He is going to change the "post" count, look into the devaluation of my status; down to "Full Member" and he is looking into why my "greenies" have stopped. He responded right away on a PM. That was good service.

EDIT: CHERY, I found this pretty funny; the bad guy needed some help huh?

Chicago Tribune: Friday, May 23, 2008:

"Fleeing cops, man caught by boars:"

Berlin- A herd of boars thwarted a suspected car thief's escape in Northern Germany.

Police in Schwerin say an 18-year old suspect abandoned a stolen sport utility vehicle Thursday after failing to shake off a police pursuit by driving into a field.

Police nabbed his passenger immediately. But they say the driver initially got away by running into nearby woods. Officers then heard the fugitive YELL and scream for HELP!

He had run into a herd of angry wild boars that were keen to protect their young.

Police freed the man from the angry boars and took into (protective) custody........

Stringer.. that was cute about the boars, thanks. I rarely watch the news anymore because it frustrates me and I cannot do anything about it. All I know is that I would have LMAO if I were there - he needed that scare!

Since the wall came down, it has been a popular sport for kids to swipe cars and go for joyrides and have races in city streets at night. Needless to say, a lot of accidents result because of these bored little you-know-whats that don't care how much damage they do - and it's only one night in jail, parents get to pay for damages, and they go back and do it again.

Kids and adults also seem it's fun to throw rocks and bricks off Autobahn bridges and hit cars with them. Lately a wife mother of two children was killed - because someone was bored.

    What's this world coming to?

Needless to say, I plan on being Alexander's guardian angel, but if he ever thinks of doing something like that, I'll spook him with such strength that he will actually feel that kick in the *ss. But I'm sure his Mom and Dad will teach him respect and values - no matter how bored he gets sometimes. There are other ways of expression, and adrenalin kicks, i.e. exercise, music and kicking a ball around.

Hey there Sweet Alty! We have been so concerned for you and your loved ones who are ill. The little snuggle bunnies here and I are sending get well wishes to you and yours. Now, first let me say, yes all three images are of the same bunnies but they kept wanting to move around and I still don't think I got a very good photo but am posting all of them anyway. I wanted to get a good clear image of the little~~~~~~help me out here, I don't do thread... needle point?? I hope you can read it in the image. It says "Some bunny loves you"!! :p I was in a rush to get to the Nursing Home to help mother with dinner and those little rascals didn't want to cooperate. I told them it was for a very important photograph for Alty! After I explained, they settled down a bit and let me take some snaps!

I am concerned about you Little One. :( Get well soon along with the rest of your crew.

We are sending tons of TLC! Wish we could help in person but for now, will have to do it by sending "virtual" hugs! ;)

Greetings to all others also, wishing you happy thoughts this evening! :p

Rebbie sends love to all! :)
