    Hello ladies!

I just got back from a lovely dinner.. decided to skip the poker game with the guys. How's the pub doing?

Sneezy, how did you make it through burns and shock? I'm scared of the exam on Monday.

Other than that 3 beers down and studying done for the night.

    Alty
    Cheers J9, I'm also having a beer.

Hey Sneezy, no poker? Good, now you can keep your pants. ;)

I didn't. Luckily, I don't have to take the boards yet ;) I still have... PLENTY of time...

Best of luck J_9... you'll do fine! DO expect a call from me in about 3 years screaming for help in me passing the USMLE.

Nope, alty. No poker. Decided to ditch the guys for a friend of mine... she and her boyfriend just broke up, so I took her out to an oyster bar. I love oysters :)

Oysters huh? You know what they say about oysters right? If you don't I'm not going to tell you, you'll have to do some research.

How's the little bro doing? Passed out yet?

I wish you the best of luck J!
Sneezy, you are going to SKIP poker??
Alty I will bring a microphone and a video camera! That should be fun!

Haha, I think I read it a medical journal somewhere...

The little bro is actually home (parents') now... I go home and have lunch with my parents every Saturday so I dropped him off today. He has school on Monday.

I'll be here!! But you'll know more than me at that point, but remember, nurses are there to catch the doctor's mistakes. LOL

    ISneezeFunny
    I truly don't believe that...

Don't tell anyone this... but to be honest, the nurses do more than the doctors do... and often times, know more about the patient than the doctors do. Without the charts, doctors are clueless.

... don't EVER quote me on that.

Wouldn't it be neat if you two worked together some day. Now that would be cool. Of course you'd never know it, Sneezy and J9, I'm sure they're not your real names, amend, I hope they aren't your real names. :p ;)

Hey, I just let Choux provoke me again, this time it's on her own thread, and the thread is all about getting out our feeling about her, so I did. Not fond of that lady, not one little bit, she sure does know how to aggravate people. Maybe she'll grow on me, I doubt it though.

Another beer for Alty, I'm catching up J9. :)

Yeah, I read that... a little caustic, but I like it

Sneezy and J9 as a team... Sounds like my plastic surgeon... he had a nurse who he trusted almost everything with.

    Would you trust me Sneezy?

I was caustic or she was? I wasn't trying to be caustic, just calling her on what she said about me. I know I shouldn't have let her get me mad, I've learned my lesson and from now on I'll RIP, but she asked for it on her thread, I wasn't going to let her say it was my fault, she started it.

Sorry, another vent, jeez, I've had allot of those lately.

Okay, happy Alty. Anyone want anything? Beer, Nachos, Steak, Lobster, nuts, pool guys, oops, did I say that? Hee, hee. /blushes

I know Choux in real life. She was one of my (good) library volunteers until about 7 years ago. Interesting how sitting behind a computer can change a person's personality...

I am going for a cup of coffee and whatever else comes my way!
(I think personal problems with each other should be kept in PM's or on the thread she started to get it all out) Only my opinion, but, well, I just hate to see it go everywhere anyway... sorry if I offend anyone for saying so, I truly am:)

Is she nice in real life Wondergirl? I've only had a few run in's with her, and so far none of them have been good. Should I sluff it off to bad timing and bad Karma, or are those encounters as good as it's going to get? I don't want to judge her, but she's made it rather hard not to. Arghh, it's frustrating.

Wondergirl, are you coming to the dog dancing party? I posted the thread and invited you, bring your fur babies, or come solo, there are extra fur babies around if you need one.

J_9, after reading your replies, I'd trust you with my own body on the table.

Alty, it's fine. Really. Happy alty.

No pool guys for Stringer, how about a bar wench? Wait a minute, your wife's home, you don't need a bar wench! :)

Starty, I get it, and I won't talk about it anymore on this thread, sorry. As for offending me, never. Once you are a friend of mine there is nothing that you can do to change that, and I always value your opinion, always. Sweet Starty, you're such a dear.

I have four cats, Alty. Could I bring Thomas Jefferson? He and I play "Titanic": -- I'm the ship sailing on the high seas (down on all fours) and he is the iceberg bashing against my head and trying to "sink" me. We provide sound effects and lots of exciting action. "Will the iceberg sink the ship?"

Choux is the same on other Q&A web sites as she is here.

The weather's a bit weird here in the atl... as always. Extremely pleasant during the day, and cold in the evening (to the Canadians... "cold" means 60 degrees... )

If I decided to have another baby (not going to happen folks, unless there's an oops) I'd want J9 to deliver it. Of course I'm in Canada, she isn't, it would be a long way to go just to get the person I want to deliver my child. No worries, I'm done anyway. Two is enough, I love them to bits, but at least with two you still have one parent for each child, three is not good, they could outnumber you and take over. YIKES. :p :) ;) :D

That mental image in my head... classic.

Bring all the kitties, you can put on a play, I love Titanic.

Sneezy, I bet you thought old people just sit by the window and peek out between the lace curtains. Actually, we're a pretty lively bunch! All I have to do is say "Titanic" and Thomas begins to wind himself around my feet meowing madly.

No way, the "old" folks at the hospital are QUITE the lively bunch... it'll be 8pm and while the other patients are watching TV... dozing off, the older bunch are getting together to play board games and talk about politics!

I did offer Stringer a bar wench, but Marta's home now right, he should be fine.

Stringer, did you leave without saying goodbye, were are you?

As for the other, you know it girl, I've considered you a friend for a long time now, nothing will ever change that. I admire honesty, even if it means telling me I'm full of it, really.

Okay, as the proprietor of this establishment it is up to me to make sure that everyone is happy. Are you all happy? If not, lie, please.:)

Can I get anyone anything? How about a game of pool, or monopoly, who brought the monopoly? Snack, drink, dip in the jacuzzi, what's your pleasure, I'll try to make it happen, I have magic snappy fingers, watch.

/snap (dang, were did my hubby go, oops) :o

You are full of wonderful energy true and sweet. K, I wish I had a good dance partner besides my dog. I have never danced formally before! I normall just belt out some busta moves when I am walking around the house and a good song comes out, sometimes I get stares or glares, but who cares right? I love dancing around, feels good to the bottom of my soul!

Nope, just catching up... but I am leaving now, see you tomorrow...

I appreciate the jester Alty, but... I have never cheated and I am too old now... so...

You guys have fun and when you finally hit the sack, sleep tight.

Just go to the Doggy dance, bring your bunny, mine are there. I left my dog Indy at home, he's old and creaky, Jasper is just too full of mischief, the bird, not a good idea with cats coming, ditto for the fish. So it's me and three bunnies, bring your bunny, mine are fixed. :)

Nighty night Stringer, sleep tight. Remember, you're only as old as you feel, that means I have one foot in the grave, geesh. Talk to you tomorrow dear.

I'm here... sitting in the library cranking out my paper... but not really cranking, more like... false starting... darn writer's block. This is why I'm not a writer... how does HC do it everyday?! I'd MUCH rather cut into someone than sit and write a paper.

Still breathing. How're you enjoying your Sunday afternoon?

It's a B-E-A-utiful day here today... upper 60s... sun is shining... GREAT day for a picnic. I may possibly ditch my paper and go for a walk in the park with my dog.
