    Thanks Cat.

Truth is, I'm just done. I've been dealing with this for months and nothing is working. I need an operation I can't have because of my hemoglobin. But, the operation will fix the bleeding that is causing my hemoglobin to be low.

It's a catch 22 and right now, I don't know where else to go, what else to do, how to get myself back.

Ya, I'm feeling sorry for myself, and I don't like it. :(

Usually I get up, find a solution, work it all out. This time it feels like there's no way to do that. I guess it's up to me.

I'm going to find some way to get myself back on track. We have a great homeopathic store in our mall, I'm going there, I'm going to find something that can at least help get me back on track so I can have the operation I need.

I'm going to do it my moms way. Of course that didn't work so well for her, but she had cancer.

I'm also going to take KP's recommendation and find an accupuncturist (sp?). At this point what do I have to lose?

I'm done! Now it's time for me to take back control and stop leaving it to doctors to fix.

Now I just have to find the strength to do this. The mind is strong, the body is weak. ;)

    Alty:

    Spinach.
    Red meat.

    Get your iron intake up.

Take some metamucil as well to help balance out the high iron intake.

try to get a hold of a piece of bloodstone. It's the primary stone used to help improve any blood disorder. It's a little difficult to find, but it's a cheap stone.

    http://shimmerlings.com/gemstones/im...loodstone3.jpg

I've found that, at the very least, homeopathic and alternative remedies rarely make things worse, even when they don't always make them better. I've never known carrying a stone to make it worse, unless you decide to eat it and choke to death ^_~

Been doing the red meat, and spinach when I can. Sadly I have a very sensitive stomach and red meat upsets it. I know, sad, but true. There aren't many foods that don't upset my tummy. I've always had issues with that.

I'm also taking multivitamins, but those reek havoc on my stomach too. Too many times I end up throwing them back up. :(

I made a new appointment with my doctor, Thursday morning, my friend is driving me there. Hopefully we can get this fixed once and for all. I'm tired, I just want to get myself back.

Sorry everyone for venting. I'm usually a lot better at keeping things to myself, but it's been a really bad week, and today, missing my appointment, feeling dizzy and crappy, it was just the last straw.

Thanks everyone. Heath, I'll find a bloodstone. At this point, anything that could help, I'm all for it. :)

Don't apologize for needing to vent. I'm pretty sure ALL of us have come on here and vented, before. You didn't expect us to apologize, so why would you feel the need to do so? Door goes both ways, sister.

    :)

    Thanks Heath, and everyone.

I do feel better now that I've let it all out. Still weepy, but looking forward to my doctors appointment on Thursday, hoping he has some other ideas, and hoping he can book the surgery, find some way to do it so I can stop taking loads of pills that do nothing.

In the meantime, I'm going to do all I can here, with whatever I can find. I wonder if eating bunny poo would help? I'm willing to try it. ;)

LOL! That makes me wonder if flies are high in iron. If so... gobble, gobble, gobble. Kill two birds with one stone.

The offer of the services of my crack team of feline fly swatters is still open. I'll even throw in edith for free. Especially since she just tried to pee on me, AGAIN!

Anyone want a cat? She likes to have her ears scratched, and has recently developed a fondness for urinating on people.

Yes, but she PEED ON ME! Besides, the kids are 17 weeks old now. More than old enough to be without their mother.

I actually had to go back and count the weeks on the calendar.

What the heck is wrong with me? I am seriously thinking about drinking the pickle juice.

I made green beans and fiddle heads tonight, just so I could put vinegar on them. Wonder what my body is lacking to crave vinegar?

My sister-in-law ate pickles with chocolate syrup while she was pregnant.

No, it wasn't a pregnancy craving. It's something she's been snacking on since she was little.

    Can anyone else say, 'EWWWWWWW!'

    ***I'm not preggers***

But when I was, I craved raw onion, sourkrout and yellow mustard sandwiches. I used to wake up in the middle of the night and make them. Hello heart burn.

when my ex was pregnant, shed crave one thing... say steamed rice with chicken and broccoli. The "rules" were I couldn't cook when she was around or conscious, which lead to lots of late night cooking... and as I like to cook and night time is my time to putter, it was an easy adaptation.

so shed devour that rice dish every night. Money in the bank. Until 2-3 weeks later, shed never want it again.

... which then lead to the Great Panic of What She Will Eat Next... sure... the peanut butter with honey on a toasted english muffin discovery gave a brief reprieve... but I always knew I had 2-3 weeks to figure out the random next big thing.

apparently with her first pregnancy, she craved and ate frozen hamburger pizza all the way through. No luck on the second knocked up pass.

at one point I remember her saying "im tired of feeling like this and you're tired of kissing my arse..."... to which I said nothing. Just smiled.

My sister craved mandarin oranges during her last pregnancy. When I was down to visit last summer, I took her a case of them.

For me it was chocolate dipped cones from Dairy Queen. I had to have one every day, which is probably why I gained 80 pounds with each pregnancy.

After 3 months of asking hubby to go out and get one for me, he finally caught on and would stop by DQ on his way home so he wouldn't have to go out again.

Just talking about it makes me yearn for one.

I also craved V8. I like the drink, but normally a little goes a long way. I'll go months in between craving one. When I was pregnant with Jared I had one litre of V8 every day.

French fries dipped in vanilla ice cream was a trend for a while too.

    LOL!

KP, the fries and ice cream is only yummy when I'm pregnant. I don't plan on going down that path again. :)

This oven is staying bun free.

Now, if you want to take a guided tour of the hallway that leads to the oven, just let me know, it can be arranged. But keep the dough away. I ain't bakin no more buns! :p

Haven't you ever dipped wendy's french fries in a frosty? It's amazing. It ONLY works with frosties, though, because it's not real ice cream. Frosties are made with lard, and yet they still taste really good.
