Sorry to hear that chuck. I hope your OK. I suppose you are with the good meds. Great pictures by the way.
I had an awesome awesomest weekend. I am having a beer and dreading the end of it. It was a perfect family time weekend and birthday party for the hubby.
Sigh... Mondays suck
Hope you feel better soon Chuck! Did the doc say why it wasn't healing?
Sunny, glad to hear you had a good week end too! I had a blast. Paying for it today though ;)
Chuckster what am I missing? What happened and why isn't it healing?
I was sure after the party last night for Marvin I would be hurting today. We were at the bar 10 hours. God love us. My bar tab was 150-something. That's no lie. In my drunking stuper I gave her a 50 tip, I think, on top of the 150. I haven't looked in the checkbook yet. I am waiting for morning. Didn't want to ruin this day stressing over it.
Then we woke up and the three of us just went out for a ride exploring whatever crossed our paths. Well we found this awesome trail to hike with some amazing rocks and I can't wait to go back. The pictures I took didn't do it justice.
Nate is my son, he is doing a fairly good act now. The young ladies were just cute and I told them I would put there picture on a site with international exposure.
It was a very serious set of breaks and we are now building up usage, went from holding 25 percent of body weight, to 50 percent this week. It really just hurts badly but is getting better.
The swelling issue is the biggest concern, going for some more Therapy this week. ( three times) So hopefully can work on it more.
I just have to sit and not do a lot, that is really worst than the pain
Well I am sure the Mrs. is taking super good care of you.
Handsome son by the way. I honestly wondering if he were yours.
Sorry, guess everyone was up on my accident.
About 6 week ago, I fell off my company van ( foot was hooked on van) and it did two serious "twist" type breaks and a toe also I think. On a third cast now and just starting to put weight on it.
It just does not want to move, can't even hardly wiggle the toes, so a lot of work to do
Well Chuk, here's fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.
Wow Sunny, big spender!! Lol ahh well at least it was a once in a while type of thing. Are the pics on Facebook?
Not the best picture, but here is the wife ( Toni) at a performance a couple of months ago.
I think this was Eddies Attic in Decatur GA.
Well I bought everyone the pizza and wings. Then I just ran a tab for whatever. Most people bought our drinks. But of course silly me started rounds of shots for all us girls. I started taking pictures but then ran out of room on my camera. I have some I am putting on Facebook right now but for some reason I am in the middle of it and Facebook went down. Are you able to get in?
Great pic Chuck.
You I am on FB, but I had issues last week uploading new pictures. I had to upload some plug in or something. Than it wouldn't work for like an hour. It froze everything up on me.
Yes that's what its doing. I just don't want the album published until I fix it.
I just posted one from us at the bar here in the pictures thread. Long before I drank my share.
Chuck what are you doing to take up spare time? You must not be still working right?
No, I made the very bad judgement of returning right back to work, they put me on a desk job.
I hate the desk job, and to be honest feel the company has started to discriminate against me because of the injury.
But spare time,? I live on here,
Well tisk on them. I have seen to many times in my area deserving employees get the shaft for no reason. No reason other then they weren't kissing butts. I hope it all goes well. You can replace a job but a job can't replace a valuable employee.
OK this Facebook thing has got on my last nerve. I am shutting down for the night. Need to catch some zz's its been a long weekend. Not to mention the fresh air and sunshine today did us all in. But it feels so great!
Good night chuck and bella if your still around. I will be here in the morning.
Nighty Night Sunny.
Night sunny, ill keep an eye out for those party pics, there wasn't a pole around was there :D
Hi bella
Hi chuck
Facebook, I do the farmville and the farm town, sort of adicting.
Can you guys help me pick something to wear to my interview in the morning?
I have it narrowed down to a few options.
The pictures suck. Blame my webcam. The shirts did NOT photograph well on the hangers.
Attachment 31490
You can't tell, but this shirt is actually a pattern of black and green leaves on that 'crinkly' material that always looks pleated.
Attachment 31491
This one is actually a royal purple.
Attachment 31492
This one is a robin's egg blue, and doesn't usually make me look that 'lumpy'
Attachment 31493
This one is bright green.
What kind of job is it for again heath?
Just generally though id go with the bottom one, with the top one as backup
Purple or bright green would be my choices. I liked the purple best
It's in a factory setting, so I want to come across professional, but not too girly. I don't want them to think I'm afraid of manual labor and getting dirty.
Hmmmm ill stick with my first pick but change the backup to the blue one
I agree with McFriar. Go with the purple one. They all look good. But for what your interview is purple might be best.
OK, so two for purple and two for green and one for blue.
Heath, have you looked at what the workers there normally wear and how they wear it (for example: shirt hems tucked in)?
I love the print, but I think it might suit an office job a bit more. Out of the other three, I think I like the blue best with the major thought being dressing for the interview as though you were going to start right then.
Regardless of which one you choose, remember it is you and your personality and attitude that will win them over. Positive thoughts and attitude. :D
The few people I've seen going in and out have been wearing very casual clothes. Along the lines of jeans shorts and t-shirts. The ladies I talked to who work in the office were just wearing casual slacks and semi-casual tops.
I'd be able to work in all but the green shirt. It tends to need adjusted.
Living so close has a very very appealing benefits. If they do hire me and want me to start right after the interview, I can come home and chance and be back in 5-10 minutes, tops.
I've always been told to dress for every interview like you're going out for a high-class job. That it's better to be overdressed than underdressed. Even if you're just interviewing at a fast food joint, it's never a bad thing to put extra effort into your appearance.
Well, I'll take the first shirt out of the running. That leaves the other 3 to choose from.
That just leaves putting together a stone bag for luck, and remembering to wear real shoes in the morning. Flip-flops are not appropriate for a job interview.
Is it too late to vote on Heaths top?
I like the purple.
How are you?
Edit::: Ok then... night.
OK, so 3 votes for the purple, 2 for the green, and 1 for the blue.
Right now, I need to go to bed. Night everyone. It's up early for me, in the morning. My sister's giving me a wake-up call and everything.
